@@yrgminion5773 many people are introverts & don't like talking too much. Also, such a relaxing event doesn't need much talking. This world is so stressful. How to calm down? Even though I'm a woman, I watch it for ASMR. These days ASMR vids are famous.
I appreciate the second barber going out of his way to assist with ensuring the customers treatment is a smooth as possible by helping - it shows they really value each customer!
This barber is clearly a master of his craft. He pays attention to detail and is pretty much an artist. A lot of respect to this man and I hope his business flourishes.
When I was stationed in Korea I got a shave and wow I felt so refreshed. She not only gave me a clean shave but cleaned my ears. It was the best shave with a blade I've had.
Now, THIS is how it’s done by a true professional. From the meticulous dress code, the sensitivity to handling the customer or the gentleness used throughout his time used…the payment must we so well worth it. This was a class act, period. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
This barber starts with a dull razor and really scratches off the beard. Then he takes his shavette and touches the blade with his fingers. After that he up-down-scratches again and totally ignores the growth pattern of the beard. When he shaves the mustache he totally shaves the customers lips which could lead to serious cutting/bleeding. This guy is not a master of his craft - instead he does a lot of mistakes.
I don't think I have ever seen this amount of skill and steadiness from a barber with a straight edge razor. Customer seems very comfortable and relaxed. It looks like a nice experience for any man visiting Korea.
Beards are not as common over there as they are in the Western world, they still carry a stigma, so the barber probably doesn't get to shave many at this length.
I started wet shaving around two months ago after having only used electric razors. The skill the barber possesses is supreme, not a single mark of skin irritation at the end of a perfect shave. Incredibly talented at his craft!
I have no idea why this popped up in my feed, but all I have to say is wow! Watching this guy, a master at his craft, made me relax. I almost fell asleep watching it- living vicariously through this patron experiencing mass relaxation. Hat tip to the barber!
THIS is a level of facial care and pampering that could make women jealous! Not only did the master give him a shave but he actually groomed every part of his facial hair. Love the little attentiveness when he shaved his forehead before shaping his brows with such skill in handling the razor blade. Very nice.
If it were the North Koreans, then the barber & his assistant would be in full military garb with medals....& the ONLY one ever laying back in that chair would be Kim Jung Un with armed guards holding guns on the barber so incase even he thought about "slipping"😆
I think it's pretty common in Asia, especially in Japan and Korea where they don't have schools for many craftsmanship jobs. Instead the young people go and work as an apprentice for several years, mainly doing simple things, watching and cleaning before they get to do the more complex tasks. For example sushi chef apprentices mainly serve customers, kitchen and wash rice for the first 1-2 years.
Nou ik heb scheermbeurt met massage gehad in Turkije ik moet zeggen ik voelde dat, dat alleen genoeg was om vakantie gevoel en tot rusten te komen lekker
Seeing how happy this man with his work, how he does everything to the little detail... I instantly know when a work worth every penny paid for it. I wouldn't mind spending more money than usual just to experience work of such master firsthand. Bravo!
I’m in Mississippi in the southern USA and I’m very impressed with the skill set of these professionals. I’m not sure why it popped up in my feed but I watched the whole video and loved every minute. Applause and appreciation for a job very well done!
Did somebody shave your eyeballs the last time you were at a barber?! This barber starts with a dull razor and really scratches off the beard. When he shaves the mustache he totally shaves the customers lips which could lead to serious cutting/bleeding. This guy is not a master of his craft - instead he does a lot of mistakes.

Oh my gosh, ❤️ this video!! The barber and his assistant are sharper than the razors! He was definitely in good hands. Presentation is everything AND he has the skills to match. Thanks for sharing.
@@cosmictruth3600 That's very true. I'll bet the first thing this young man did when he woke up and saw his very clean shave, his first thought was, "Why didn't you put enough shaving cream on my face to make me look like santa claus? 0 stars, I want my money back."
I hope this man's clients appreciate the meticulous care he takes every step of the way. I've never trusted anybody enough to let them get that close to my throat with a straight razor -- but in this gentleman's case? I'd make an exception. I've always intended to visit Seoul. Now I have another reason.
@@mehulrajopadhye shows that he can gently pass it on the skin, most barbers I've went to shave they really press the blade against the skin and I get instant irritation to my skin
Bro, as a female who shaves my entire face I love my straight razors…light touch and tons of after care with moisturizer. My sensitive skin has no problems. Those barbers were idiots!
My husband would love this timeless classy experience. A barbershop without the trash talking, tv playing, people on phones or unnecessary crap. Just a skilled barber dedicated to his craft.
You know you're at a GREAT Barber shop when you're knocked out and in sleepy 😴 land, not counting sheep, but holding whole conversations with them 😂! Respect 🙏
I was curious on how a Korean barber was different & wow I'm glad I was, this man showed he takes pride n his work. He has an assistant that's very helpful. I had no idea they shaved there whole face. For whatever reason I know shaving all the hair helps your pores.
In what way does it help the pores? Also Koreans, japanese and chinese people usually prefer without facial hair. They think it looks weird on them and some even go as far as to day they think it's unclean and not gentleman like. Is what I heard from some. They just like to be cleanly presented. The Egyptians for example did this too. To be so close to pure was to cleanse daily and shave daily, the full body. Other cultures preferred beards like vikings to show you were a true warrior.
@@myrkflinn4331 by shaving the whole face you peel off the top layer of the skin, freeing up dirt and dead skin cells which helps your pores staying open and clean
@@myrkflinn4331 @Myrk Fælinn as korean woman, I think korean people's beard don't grow that many, so they prefer to clean it. Let it grow more seem unclean and dirty.
My god, I want an awesome shave and massage like that from these gentlemen. A shame we can't have that type of service here in the US anymore! Enjoyed your video! Love the attention to detail, and care given to the shave!

As a female, I know what qualities we get with a facial. This barbers skill, precision and attention to detail is uncanny. He looked professional, his pressure in the way he used his hands was amazing. Truly a wonderful experience for the man who looked liked he was so relaxed he fell asleep. Well done. I assume the man at the back is his apprentice learning the art maybe. I would happily pay money for my brother, father or son to experience this

its a trust thing with the barber that makes it unique, he has a blade at your throat but he is such a pro you don't need to worry about that, it adds to the whole experience
Man, I am leaning back in my office chair watching this and I am relaxed as well. If I was in that chair, I would have been asleep after that face massage
You just know you're in a good barbers when you can close your eyes and not have to listen to "what you up to...no work today....did you watch the (insert applicable sport)" This man is concentrating on his art! Be like Korean barbers.
