Despite my pseudonym, I am a woman. My husband proposed to me 5 days after we met. We married 17 days after meeting each other. It was a second marriage for both of us. Awwww I had my husband listen to your story and he said with a wide smile "their story is similar to ours" and yes I agreed. I went to Ireland instead where he met me at the airport and softly grabbed my hand, 4th day introduced me to his family and here we are 10yrs later and he still treats me as if we met our first day. Loved it! I'm American from African descent (primarily Nigerian). My spouse is American from European descent. We will have been married for 25 years this November. One of the ways I knew he was the one is that everything he did while he pursued me spoke of his recognizing my value and of his wanting to build something lasting. He observed me living a life of purpose and that's what he wanted. He said it was love at first INsight! He treated me like he had found gold then and he still does 25 years later. Wow. @ say it loud, Equally stunning testimony. Where are these men? Why are they not mentoring men In their thousands? The values you said your husband was looking out for and that you recognised he was pursuing value while dating you! You cannot buy that insight in the store. My my. Listening to your story reinforces how much living there is to be done. Not just living but living well. And being genuinely loved and respected. It touched me hearing all of the things that your husband did towards your family and your future. There did not seem to be any doubt on your part that he was yours and you were his. You touched on several important lessons. Be open minded, be willing, and be prepared to go. We can't stay in our comfort zones all the time. New experiences are needed to help us grow.

Hi Fumi. I happened upon your tiktok videos a couple of days ago. I was watching some mukbang videos on RU-vid and one of your videos popped up. Then today this video came up. I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE with your story of how you met your husband ❤️. And you told it as if you were reading straight out of a book about a love story. It was so intriguing and beautiful that I stopped the video 5 hours ago to go and get tonight's dinner. Came back and watched a movie. Showered. Did a couple of other things and then went right back and picked up where I left off in your video. That was an amazing and oh so beautiful story!!!💕💕💯 So I met a man 14 years ago who told me that he had prayed for me. He said he'd told God, "That's her!". And we were strangers. Never had seen or heard of one another. Had no mutual friends or anything. And we both were in a relationship with other people at that time. So, To make a long story short, almost 3 months ago, he proposed to me on the date of when we first met 14 years later and so we are engaged 💍 now 😍💞💘 When a man sees the right woman for him, he knows in his heart. Exactly, I was so naive, almost prim proper and played safe but largely distracted by being focused nobily looking after others and society, that I postponed adventure as well as perhaps similar men who wanted marriage straight away that by the time I was now ready, life events came like a whirlwind..... I look back well beyond thrn and think how could I have missed the dign. But then you look harder and you find it is important to know those around you because some could see the sign but not only not tell you, but move you off!

I've been crying since halfway into the video. First of all, because it makes me glad to know this kind of true love still exists. Secondly, because I had a miserable marriage and trusting God will heal me and send me the man of my life cos I still believe in true love. Thanks Fumi for sharing your story. I'm 37, separated after 17 years of marriage, filled with manipulation, abuse, cheating, lies and everything done the wrong way. Wrong foundation, didn't listen to my dad when he read the signs from the beginning, I was only a teenager and still went to get married without my dad's blessings. Today, I've reconciled again with my dad, but I'm rebuilding my life from scratch. I have chosen to be patient this time, it's never too late to meet your true love. Thanks again Fumi.

Hello Aunty Fumi. I am so grateful for finding you! Your testimony is simply amazing. How i connected to you a day after praying for my husband intensely and looking at Scottish grooms in kilts 😂 is just divine. You see, am 43 , turning 44 in April from Ghana, living in USA for 26 years. Single with an 11 yr old son. Like you tried to fit the mold of marrying an "African" man. Disaster, trauma etc...then i realized truly within my soul i actually had such an affinity for British men !!! I guess my childhood crush on Roger Moore and Sean Connery had evolved. But honestly Aunty i really had to be honest about the box i had kimited myself to. I broke free, cried, prayed and looked for English countryside weddings to inspire me.
