You mixed up the stories of two incarnations of Mother Shakti, i.e. Sati and Parvati, and combined them into one 😅 Against her father's will, Sati married Shiva. Unfortunately, the story did not have a happy ending, so Shakti had to reincarnate as Parvati and became the second, but actually the first and only wife of Lord Shiva 😊❤
The ‘t’ in ‘Sati’ didn’t actually become a ‘d’. The word ‘Sati’ comes from the Sanskrit word ‘Satī’, which means ‘a virtuous woman’. The confusion might come from different pronunciations or translation over time. 😊
