I love seeing different artist interpretation of a concept. I have to say this doll speaks to me in a lot of ways. I love the rainbow drips and cracks. Can’t wait to see more from you
Thank you so much, for me it was tough prompt and I think I sat with it for a month conceptualizing a few things before I landed here. I'm really happy with her and I felt like it was a cathartic release of some pent up emotions.
She’s gorgeous.I love the cracks on her and the coloured bits,so pretty and it was brave doing her hair like that, but it worked beautifully.I like that you made her as a fixed doll too 🥰
Thank you so much! Honestly I was working on last ditch efforts with the hair. I ordered some teeswater but it wasn't a good fit for the project (too long) and if this didn't work the hair would have been streaks of color and I didn't think that would look as good.
I love this doll, very unique heartbreaking yet hopeful at the same time. As for the brush I wonder if it has some kind of coating on the bristles. It looks like a nail art brush so maybe there is something on there so that it's easier to use with nail polish? Maybe try washing it with gentle soap and water.
Thank you so much, I updated the links too. I feel like a lot of us can relate and I wanted her to feel meaningful and that although she is gives away pieces of herself there is good that comes out of it.
I absolutely love this. The colour match is flawless. And those cracks are absolutely gorgeous. The lore and all those details really wrapped it all together nicely. Thank you for joining this collab!
I was happy to collab with you again, its always a joy. I've gotten pretty good at color matching and can usually get it pretty dang close, if only my color theory teacher could see me now!
Thank you so much! I was so nervous making the cracks, but I surprised myself. The hair was a last ditch effort because the teeswater I ordered didn't work and I was running out of ideas. I'm so happy it worked as well as it did.
Your doll repaints are so lovely! I've seen you do some video games repaints and thought of an idea There is a horse monster high doll and I think she would be a very neat Lunara doll from Heroes Of The Storm! She has so many neat skin designs and I've never seen her done !
Thank you so much and she is on my to do list! I'm partial to her base skin because I always played as the night elves in warcraft 3 and loved the dyrads spawning with "ah the great outdoors"
this is a stunning doll and the cracks work so well, i don't know if this helps, but i use nail art brushes, i don't know if you have tried them before, but i do find them ok for fine work as they can be a bit longer than normal paint brush hairs
This figurine looks so beautiful, so simple yet so deep. The face looks amazing, so full of expression and emotion. The concept is pretty cool and artistic, imho. I loved the more unconventional pose. Great work!!!
Thank you! She is so sweet, mine complained that she was too sad. She told me my next doll should be happy and was disappointed when I told her it was not 😆
Oh no, well sometimes we already have things lined up! I have 2 videos coming in the next month--one i hope to post next week, the other i'm posting around valentine's day if I can finish her in time lol.@@LadyDynamiteCreates
