What a fun idea ….leave the back as a Muslin - the kids can write with a fabric marker - a valentine to their friends for a keepsake - a reminder they have a friend! Love this!!!
Oooh I'd love to do this with different shapes and colors for different seasons! Pastel strips cut into egg shapes for Easter. Green triangles could make Christmas trees. Yellow and white stars for Christmas/winter or red/white/blue stars for July. Orange strips in a pumpkin shape or black/grey/purple strips in a bat or witch hat shape for Halloween... So many possibilities!
Great idea Erica! Love your lighted tree for displays of seasonal sewing gems! These turned out so cute and would make sweet little gifts for our friends too💕♥️🧵
Love these hearts! I’m going to make a few to use as sachets by using essential oils on the batting before attaching the fabric on either end. I think it will work great. Thanks!!!
Dear Erica, thank you for your Scandinavian Star folding video a while back! I have made sew many thanks to you. Cheers from Kindle on Vancouver Island. PS this quilty heart looks fab!
I love this! Also love having another reason to keep my tree up a bit longer, too! Maybe you might have more seasonal ornament ideas for our trees? And love the mug rug idea. I drink a lot of tea!
How fun for St. Patrick’s Day using the heart and then the green and then you’re idea of making a strip of them you’ve got great material behind you I love your ❤set up.
Love making these so much! Made a set in soft greens and grays - Moda Sophie by Brenda Riddle collection - and gave them with a meal for a friend who is recovering from surgery, she loved them! *her fav colors:) Thanks again!
My goodness these r adorable 🥰 I’m new to seeing, I’m super excited to try to make these especially the mug one for my desk. Super awesome 👏 the possibilities are endless. Ty
Love this beginner friendly video! You did it again Erica; thank you for the great idea and video! I made something similar in trees and passed them out as Christmas gifts this year.
Love this! I still have my Sizzix machine and heart-shaped die for a shortcut. And, for those decorating the tree for St. Patrick's Day, Sherrill on The Sewing Room Channel just showed how you can put four hearts together and make a four-leaf clover.
