@GO BLOOD thou I am a Brahmin but I wish Government must abolish all castes based on birth and establish castes system based on our work just like Sri Krishna did.
Very well said...Brahmin r those who have knowledge and gives society the knowledge. Those who do regular work r shudra's. Those who r traders becomes vaishya's. And armymen n soldiers..who protects society r warriors. If u r born in Brahminkul then it is easy for you to become Brahmin because of your genes but it doesn't guarantee you become brahmin. Ur action will decide ur varna.
Brahmin does not become a shudra by doing job in a company,Brahmin is nothing but who helps others in spiritual journey and keeps learning the dharma and spreading it
We heard that when this show started in 1988 everyone in India and even every Sanatani or Hindus of Bangladesh 🇧🇩was fan of this series. Even Thief didn't steal anything when series Start, every one watched the series then did their work it is absolutely amazing 🙏🙏 Our previous generation was fan of this series.. Greetings from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 to both of you 💐
I don't think it's good ... someone saying that he became sudra for 27year and later vaisya...( whether u r sudra or vaishya it is defined not by your physical action only..the aspects which u r telling is just a means that helps to survive that job feed u and that's it...but main thing is psychological level .. I would rather than becoming vaisya sudra or khyatriya be yogi....as Krishna said....
Finally you understood, why Arjun is very important, because he is the one who is asking questions, the greatest task is to create n ask the right question at the right time
Merchant class is called vaish. You are both Brahmana. Brahman is one who teaches. You do and you do a great job. My eyes tear up frequently looking at your devotion. Hare Krishna 🙏
@@RaiseTheWorldProjectNow 🙏 I have done extensive search and research for God, life, universe, soul and emotions. Will write email to you soon. Keep up the good work you both are doing. You are wonderful together. 🙏Vijay Shankar Sharma.
Exactly... We should thank Arjun... Because Keshav could not say Geeta Gyan if Arjun didn't raise his questions... And questions must be deep because he is lord Krishna who is answering... Today we need to be more like Arjun who can think deep with meaningful questions.... And i love to see you both everytime... I enjoy this watching with same energy and happiness that i had as a kid with my parents... I'll wait for next one . Jay Shree Krishna, Keshav bless you...❤️🙏😊
Brahman -. Knowledgeable.. schoolers.. inteligents.. scientist.. Kshatriya -= warriors for good.. protecters.. life saviers Vaishya -=. Businessman.. own company holders .. all little and big business men Shudra -=. All workers .. labers... Helpers .. served
ध्यानात्कर्मफलत्यागस्त्यागाच्छान्तिरनन्तरम् ..सभी कर्मो के फलों का निरंतर त्याग और कर्म फल की कोई अभिलाषा नही Constant renunciation of the benifits of all actions and no desire for the benifits of actions🙏
The 4 varna (colour of the soul I.e. attributes and aptitude) Are based on 4 sources of power. 1. Weapons and politics( Kshatriyas) 2. Knowledge and scholarship( Brahmanas) 3. Commerce and wealth( Vaishyas) 4. Manpower and labour( Shudras) Krishna says "Guna karma vibhasgaschya" That he has created 4 varnas based on gunas( qualities) and karma( deeds and talent) It has nothing to with birth. I am a kaushika, my ancestor was a king Kaushika a kshatriya, he became Vishwamitra, a brahmana. Varnas change according to people's qualities and actions as well.
I am from a Brahmin bhumihar caste due to birth whose ancentral roots is from Bhagwan Parshuram Ji 🙏 And i am a Brahmin in Karma too. Because I am a Teacher 😀🙏 Caste by birth is not the real Varna system. This system has it's roots in Karma and what kind of job we do.
I'm a kshatriya caste. Because of caste system still practiced in india and for the society's sake i have to marry a man of my caste Kshatriya (rajput). I pray to lord Krishna to help me to find a husband with my kanha's blessings 🙏🏼💚
Bhagwat geeta is a gem not only fr hindus but also fr whole world....whenever u feel curious or if u hv any question. just open any page of geeta book n u will get ur answers.
Varna means not cast but 4 type of duties of society perform by peoples like warriors/Satriya intellectual/Bramhin businessman/Bashwya and architecture&hospitality/Sudra
Brahaman - Who gives education to society Kshatriya - Who protects the country and people Vaishya - Who trades Shudra - Who offers any kind of service and accepts money for it. If you notice most of the people in this world are doing some kind of service and get paid for it. So these all people are Shudras. Shudra is not a derogatory word. It is just a category of people just like the other three.
At 3:14 to 4:20 ghoose bumps thanks to Arjun who is so confused kept on asking krishna the truth what an episode thanks roger and sabina for enlighten us. god bless you
Sri Krishna walked the earth 5000 years ago. Krishna was not a religious leader. He did not start any religion. But every religious leader, Gurus and religions learnt from him about Soul, rebirth, duty, etc. He was the first one to introduce to all these realities. He is the inspiration of all who came after.
I'd say that in the current context, Brahmins would be the learned people in the society - Teachers, Scientists, Doctors, Lawyers etc. anyone who would pursue and practice erudition as their current mission. Kshatriya - would be Defence forces, Military, maybe politicians (?). Vaishya - The businessmen, traders, artisans. Shudra - the Labourers, workers (blue collared or otherwise) etc. The main point here is that a person can be of any class at any point in their life. He could be a worker (shudra) then maybe join the military (kshatriya) then leave and continue to learn as a student, pickup a trade and start his own business (Vaishya) and then maybe become a teacher of that trade somewhere (Brahmin). So the class of a person is essentially fluid and not dictated by his birth.
Sri Krishna's life was most difficult. He was born in jail and got separated from his parents from the day he was born. He used to be a milkman and flute player with very little food to feed himself in childhood. He never got married to the girl he loved most dearly. And many mor things...... Yet we think ours life is the most difficult. Even Lord who controls everything had to go with all such things then how can we be spared???
I really appreciate your purity of hearts while watching and listening to geeta Gyan, with your palms joined.l together. We as kids (when ramayan and Mahabharata came out on television) were only interested in war scenes. But our grandmother used to watch it with joined hands. It was the the God himself for her on the screen. Just know this, you have more devotion than a lot of people.
Roles is a good way to say it. Gita says all are born as sudras(the lowest of the castes) and then choose your role according to your interests: kshatriya(warriors or army men and women), vaishnavas( business and economy related), brahmanas(scholars or teachers and scientists)
I have been all four caste. I have been teacher when I trained my fellow coworkers. I have been warrior when I was a security guard. I have been business man when I worked as Uber driver as it is described as you are hired as a contractor And I have been labourer when I worked in a factory.
Born a kshatriya, brought up, and in a way mentored by my mother, to the teachings of our sages. Working as a corporate employee, wishing to become a merchant ( business class ) 😅😂. Having interacted with almost all the 4 classes of the society in depth, feel proud to have had a mother who persuaded me, and my brother, to take on teachings and lessons of our sages, such as - tolerance towards all life forms, and hence, consequent giving up on the typical non-veg diet of a Punjabi 😅. Anyway, feel so happy that our culture and our teachings are helping people from all backgrounds of society; a positive aspect of the pluralistic nature of Hinduism. However, considering you guys are actually trying to be receptive to the teachings of our culture and also, intensively studying it, you'll agree if I say that, at the core Hinduism is actually singular, though, the pluralistic nature helps catering to everyone's needs, faith, and complexities of their lives. Radhe Radhe..
I am Brahmin. It is said that Brahmin should do following things. Teaching, Astrology, Doctor and help everybody for making right decision just like Guru Dronacharya. But it is also said that whoever contains the knowledge about the god and ancient scriptures very deeply (Basically who knows the God ) is known as Brahmin.
There are lot of Mahabharat series but one produced by BR chopra is a Classic.. It's a Divine Experience... Being a Christian I can say my Hindu Culture is the best 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Four caste Brahman - those who reads , write and self aware Kshtriya- those who fights , protects dharma Vaishya - those who do business, live for him self , matterialistic life Shudras - those who are not self aware ,mentally not that up to the mark , those who never asks questions, those who live like slave . A slave of his senses . Anybody can become any member of caste , it depends on what you are as a person . If you belong to shudras , then you can become brahman as well all it takes is to ask questions, be self aware by yagna process .
The four varṇas (occupational categories) were Brahmin (priestly class), Kshatriya (warrior and administrative class), Vaishya (mercantile and farming class), and Shudra (worker class). But if a men is in sudra class bu birth but he knows a priest work then he will also be a will brahmin... If he is physically fit and knows how to protect the society to the enimies... Then he is a Kshatriya.
Business class are called "Vaishya", Shrdra means who does labour work, brahmins used to do puja in temple, at people's homes, do all the rituals like wedding, death rituals, pitru puja etc.kshtriya used to fight wars and protect brahmins in ancient India. I m brahmin.
At time 5:53, subtitles are incomplete, Lord Kṛiṣhṇa is saying that he created 4 varnas these four orders of the society are based on guna and karma ( Not Birth ). Guna means qualities and karma means action.🙏
Although, caste( Varna) are categorised based on work. But I like the understanding that today we all are doing all 4 parts in our life. My biggest learning from Geeta is follow the truth and do the duty. Rest Krishna ji will take care 👍
Ideally as per the modern day - brahman are modern day laureates like - scientists, doctors, engineers, lawyers, politicians who are driving the society to right path. - Kshatriyas are like warriors - Army people, policeman, security guards. Vaishayas - are the business clan. Shudras - are the people with Blue collar jobs
At the start of the world There was all Brahmins came from the Brahma itself containing knowledge. When the first king protected people they were recognised as the worrier class Kshatriyas. Later the people who clean kingdom was recognised as kshudras. Who sell things for living were known as Vaishyas. These four class are very important for the balance of the world.
Arjun though knowing most of the answers asks the questions for the benefit of humanity. The merchant class is called vaish or baniya. The castes is not by birth rather by nature of the person.
Shri Krishna first imparted the knowledge of Gita about rebirth and death to Surya the sun (see its depth) as Surya was the first to be involved in the cycle of birth and death after the creation of this universe. Wow😳
4 castes: Brahmin (one who learns and disseminates knowledge), Kshatri (Warriors), Vaish (Businessmen) and Shudra (those who serve people of above 3 castes). Baghwat Gita does not identify people based on which family they were born into. Instead people are identified by their actions and their mindset and this difference need to be understood by all.
Hi,Roger & rubina there are 4 class division- 1)Brahmin 2) kshatriya 3) vaishya (business men) 4) Shudras ( labours & helpers!) *One more thing I like to tell you~ Shri Bhagavad Gita is Q & A session between Arjun & Lord Shri Krishna : But what we look it at it as Lord himself asked Q through Arjun! & Stored answers for the world forever for us ! Means though it looks like Arjun asking various Q but actually Lord Shri Krishna is Questioner & he himself answers them all ! *Because he is a lord incarnated to establish importance of knowledge which we left behind! Congratts thar you are blessed to grab the greatest divine knowledge!
You are on the way to become a Brahmin as you are exploring the knowledge and diving deep into it. You are doing the work of a Brahmin 🙏🙏🙏 *Jai Shree Krishna*
Correction @5:56 it's VARNA not CASTE as subtitles. Subtitles are not really accurate as English doesn't have equivalent words for Sanatan concepts. Varna is profession based. Allows changing of groups for individual . Also it's not oppressing any group.
great understanding you shown about how Varna works. 1. Brahman : If you act to gain knowledge and use that to help society ...you have right to be called Brahman. (merely taking birth in a family name doesn't make you anything). Example: A person who knows Jap, vidhaan, Puja, yagya and does his basic Core Duty to learn and recite the Mantras (trikaal Sandhya) as explained in veds.) Rare people these days. 2. Kshatriya: If you protect your nation, the helpless and stop the adharma happening in front of you... you have right to be called Kshatriya. (again merely taking birth in a family and yet full of cowardice or becoming the very thing you are supposed to stop...makes you adharmi not Kshatriya. Example: Armed forces ...ready to do their duty to protect the nation & help the people in any unfortunate disaster. 3. Vaishya: in simple words.... The Merchants 4. Shudra: the labour Other than as explained above (1& 2) we all are Vaishya and Shudra one way or another. We all buy/sell something or Work for others to provide service of any type as labour these days. Caste is nothing but an illusion created and carried over by all for one reason or another.....and yes "by all of us". and if anyone wondering how he/she can become "BRAHMAN" in true sense..... first open your MIND, be ready to receive and learn to make decision on Dharam/Adharm. Read "PURANs" (not the Veda... u need expertise to understand those first). Try to Find THE Enlightened Guruji who can break your bonds and free your mind to get to the PATH to become the BRAHMAN and beyond. AND HOW IT IS DONE...is also Cleary Explained in "SHIV PURAN". READ IT !
By birth one is a SHUDRA , by the purificatory process ( Sanskars ) one becomes a dvija (rebirth / higher path), by the study of the Vedas (knowledge) one becomes a vipra (Scholar / Pandit) , and one who understands BRAMHA is a brahmana. So NO SABINA DIDI 🙏🏾 & ROGER BHAI 🙏🏾 , Pandits / Priests may not always be a Brahaman ( If you understand what I mean here ). We all are divided into three categories mainly ~ 1. Brahman ( Wisdom attainer / Who is wise ) 2. Kshatriya ( Who fights to save / Fighters ) 3. Vaisya ( Who makes everyone life's easy / Merchants ) Based on these our Dharma ( The right deeds / Righteousness ) is divided further. The one who doesn't hold Sankaras ( Character / Behaviour ) were called the Shudras, and since we all were once kids , so we were Shudras untill we attained a character enough of attaining any choosable VARNA. But due to lack of Intelligence ( wisdom ) in our society , and multiple Abrahmic invasions since past 900 Years , our real top cream class of Society were exterminated. Ultimately due to lack of wisdom, we got corrupted ( Intentionally or Unintentionally 🙏🏾). Now what you see and observe is just the left over. Many misconceptions and misinformations are floating in our society. For Example - Like The meaning of Dharma is called Religion , but NO Sir 🙏🏾 , It's NOT. It's real meaning is what's right as a deed of a character you choose to live for ( Brahaman , Vaisya , Kshatriya ) In the same way , Shrimad Bhagvatam Puraan ( Compilation of Geeta / Mahabharat / Birth Death ledger of Kingdoms ) is called as a Fancy tale. 🙏🏾 NO sir , it's not... Shri Krishna & Mahabharat is not mythology, but a part of human REAL HISTORY. Mohenjodaro/ Harappa civilizations were the later part of the Dwaraka Civilizations ( Shri Krishna's Kingdom ) . As of Dec/ 2022, Quantum & Archeological scientists are still discovering many things on the coast lines on the Bay of Gujarat ... 🙏🏾 soon the righteousness will prevail. 💐 Jai Shri Krishna... 🙏🏾 😃
The four varnas are categories according to karma and its activity.... Bramhin- a knowledgeable person 2) kshatriy- a wel physics sports activity 3) vaishya- the one who have business idea 4) shudra-the one who physically distorted or stuffers diseases.. From starting it is not by birth...
Few things are inbuilt....being in army don't mean you belong to warrior class ....its in your natural behaviour and body language...like Lord Parshuram said, Brahmins or shudras can't tolerate such a severe pain what Karna went through while he was having a nap on Karan lap and some creature was biting him...this is how Lord Parshuram recognise Karan that he belongs to warrior/ Kshatriya class
God bless you ! Sabina and Roger and most welcome in india. I wish your channel crossed millions of subscribers because your nature like a true devotee of god
