One id add is dont add everything at once! Its fun if you have like a family heirloom of jewelry or if you add a tattoo you want on them later on and have to find how to work it into your story! Kinda like rewarding your sim for getting to a certain point🤭

I always have my legacy leader pick a necklace or ring and then the ancestors wear them once they pass! It adds so much to the game

Subconsciously I already have applied some of these tips to my sims recently: - About the rewear items tip; for me it makes sense that a more fashion-forward and/or rich sim (say Nancy Landgraab for example) would be less likely to rewear items than Liberty Lee would. - For fun names, I recently made some freelancer sims with punny names that refer to their specific interests. I had a writer named Perrie Graph (paragraph), a programmer named Eddie Buggins (de-bugging) and an artist Tabby Drawsome (she uses a tablet to draw some paintings).

You're Sims are always soooo beautiful! I can't use mods or custom content but I try my best to mock some of your sim style with just the general game. I would love if you did an updated tutorial on how to just make a base game sim and how to add details without custom content.

I like giving the sim an accessory that works it way through their outfits. Perhaps a favorite bracelet or their grandmother's necklace. Or even some old sneakers they like too much.

I only found out about the edit career outfit cheat a couple months ago, and I've had a lot of fun using it! My CAS tip (combined with Build&Buy I guess) for those with the High School Years expansion is to make themed proms. I had a tropical-themed prom and gave all my Sims and their dates tropical-looking formal outfits. The next prom was a masquerade ball using the Discover University masks.

rly unique and interesting ideas !! u could also incorporate their likes and dislikes into their style , for example , if they rly like a certain style of music they could dress in a similar aesthetic , or u can use their favorite colors a lot in their outfits !

In the Sims 2, the career outfits are completely uneditable unless you default-replace those outfits with mods. In the Sims 3, it is possible to modify the career outfits. Now in the Sims 4, you have to use a cheat code to modify the career outfits. Still cool. I once had a hijabi girl in my game, and she came home in just western clothes, even revealing her hair. She was supposed to be wearing a hijab in her Education profession. Afterwards, I just made her work from home so she could keeping wearing that hijab. I am not sure if I want to modify the career outfits just for 1 Sim who is a hijabi. I mean, what about the other Sims who are in the same career? I just hope that EA/Maxis brings back the Sims 3 functionality though. They did so in the Sims 3 in which they allowed Sims to wear custom career outfits specifically for a Sim. This kind of mechanic would be better than a career outfit override.
