You should have gotten a flush at 43:55. Not a straight. Take your time because you are handling sometimes two hands and your eyes looking at so many cards at first. The dealers are not perfect so you MUST do their jobs too. It’s your money not theirs.

You missed the Flush on the left hand. You didn't see the Queen of ♠️, you should've have the flush bonus instead of straight bonus. You didn't double check the hand.

You have to clarify also the house rules. Some house if dealer has two small pairs under 10 and had an Ace or King, the two pairs has to be separated; some house keep the two pairs as high and the King or Ace low. No ifs or buts if the two pairs are big, say from 10 to Kings and has an Ace split the two pairs as high and low.

At 4:16, why does the dealer take your $5 and only give you $40? With a 8:1 payout for the Dealer Ace -high Pai Gow, you should get paid $40 on your $5. The result should be that you end up with $45. Am I missing something?

I appreciate the question. The dealer took the $5 from the fortune bonus bet since I didn’t win. He left the ace high bet there and gave me $40 for the 8-1. Hope that helps 😊

I'm not sure if someone already mentioned it but if your cards are the same as the dealers, they win, not just face up pai gow, but all pai gow. One time at the El Cortez I had the exact same cards as the dealer, top and bottom and I lost. That was crazy! I said I should get a consolation prize for having all 7 cards the same as the dealer LOL

For face up pai gow, is it up to the dealer on how they want to arrange the cards? @5:30 dealer put two pair at the bottom which allowed you to push. But @10:00 the dealer decided to split the two pair which prevented you from pushing.

@3:00 you mis-set your hand. With 3 pairs, you put the highest pair on top and the lower 2 pair on the bottom. That's important if you play non-face up Pai gow. As it stood, it didn't matter, either way wins.

@8:32 the dealer mis-set his hand. *AJ2345 should be AJ top, 2345* as a 6 which is a higher straight while the top is the same. Doesn't matter in this case, but mis-set is mis-set. :)

@@KSechrist actually in Pai Gow the A-5 straight is the second highest straight only to broadway which is AKQJ10, so A-5 straight is better than even KQJ109 straight, so the straight is actually set up correctly in this hand.

So the Joker can only complete a flush or a straight, otherwise it is an Ace. I had to put the two aces on the bottom so the queen was the highest that could’ve gone on top (which lost to the dealer’s king). I could’ve technically split the ace and the joker so that I was ace high on top to beat the dealer’s king but I would’ve still lost on the bottom since the dealer had a pair of 5s 😊 So it was a push either way. I hope that helps 😊

I have never played Pai Gow but you have definitely made me a fan of this game! First off that last hand was SUPERB!!!😀 A win is a win and to play that long and come out on top is awesome! I do wonder why after winning your first 2 hands (which seems rare in this game because of all the pushes-you then went to 2??? I was like noooo-I know in blackjack you are quick to go to 2 hands which I also don’t recommend (been playing for 35 years) maybe losing about 6 hands go to 2 Btw in your live chat you mentioned feeling like you have to bet $50 or more per hand for blackjack-one reason because you feel you are taking up a whole table-the casinos don’t care they are not going broke plus many other you tubers play less, and your other reason was you didn’t feel the content would be fun enough for us to watch-I disagree I would watch no matter what you are betting! And always keep in mind most of your subs only care that you don’t lose a lot of money🤗 PS I loved the dealer he was great!

I think that I like PAI GOW but it's a little crazy trying to figure some of it out. Thanks for helping to contribute to the delinquency of an oldster; well, maybe anyway?
