Good observation. My Tata Punch also showing the same difference for highway and city drive. Egarly waiting for next episode. When i complain about milage, TATA service station reset EMU thats all. No change in milage.

Same thing observed in my bs6 tiago. I never seen this slight revving factor after realising clutch on ideal conditions into my other cars. I have asked this to SC but they were clueless that time

The Anti Stall mechanism is to avoid the frequent stalling considering the engine is 3 cylinder. The 3 cylinder engine is small for the car. All BS6 petrol cars now come with this mechanism. The i20,Altroz all petrol cars have this feature. BTW observation is good. Yes Frequent Clutch and brake will reduce the mileage and this mechanism too burns more fuel.

I also faced the same issue in my BS4 tiago but later on that's resolved. Tiago has one feature where if it has to climb a small patch it automatically increases the power. I found it useful.

चढ़ाई पर जब गाड़ी को ब्रेक लगाकर रोकने के बाद जब गाड़ी बढ़ाने के लिए ब्रेक छोड़ते है तब यह ऑटो ऐक्शलेटर का फिचर बहुत उपयोगी है... और कलच रिलीज होने से पहले इंजन में पावर होना बहुत जरूरी है...

Are bhai yeh Tiago me bhi same ha Yeh koi problem nahi ha, yeh feature ha This feature is very helpful in hills when you start to climb a slope from stand still since these cars don't have hill hold assist, this power surge prevents engine stalling It'll pickup even without accelerating just by slowly engaging clutch This feature is also for crawling purpose Because of this feature in city traffic you can crawl just by releasing clutch without even touching the accelerator with full load Which you're calling a problem is the feature of the car Don't waste time for a non-existing problem 👍

Please check inside door lock Co passenger side of punch as even if you central lock all doors, any one can pull it and it will unlock door. This is an issue with punch or cars having same door lock unlock technique. Because inside door handle is itself work as door lock knob.

Meri tiago me bhi starting me same problem thi but jab maine 3rd service pe le gai tab sc walo ne khud hi usko correct kr diya bina bole hi...wrna gaadi 5th gear me apne aap hi daudti thi kabhi kabhi bina accelerator dabaye hi.I think so this is not a problem starting me tata jaan bujhkar ye setting rkh kr deti hai apni gaadiyon me may be due to some of technical reasons.

I also own Punch, mileage issue is there, i drove about 800KM trip Amritsar to Muzaffarnagar (UP), Rookee (Uttaranchal) to back Amritsar. Maximum mileage i got 17.8 KMPL. My friend bought Magnite he claims 18.5 KMPL. I got 31.8 KMPL in City diesel ( honda claims 28.3kmpl).

Same thing happens to Tata Tiago, this is a feature by TATA, it helps the beginners to Pick Up the car in 1st gear without accelerator. You may Try skipping the clutch switch.

yes Ideally 900.. load Pe 1300 1400 nai ana chahiye..1100 hona chaaiye..Altroz me v but 1100 se upar nai jata so sahi..ye gadi me koi pblm hai..chk kare
