The trick is the sensor is in the top of the machine. you gotta be short to get a high score.. if you're tall you're hitting dead on and the sensor doesn't read it as strong. If you're short, you have to hit upwards and the sensor feels it stronger even if you hit it weaker
It's about speed don't matter if your tall, everyone seems to struggle to grasp the fact it's about how fast it bounces of your fist. And how fast it's hitting the sensor. For anyone dramatically stronger then us normal folks would probably break the machine because it wouldn't be able to handle any real level of power, this machine is just a toy.
I got 906 on this machine and i haven't trained for 10years, weigh 70kg, arms like a girl. Can't bulk up, skinny genes so I just run and play tennis instead.. It's all about speed on these machines! Guy as big as the atm machine in the background only hit 927 after me 😅

My first reaction too was that wrist looks like it rolled on the first punch. Guy shrugs it off but after the second punch he is realizing he jacked it up.
(All things considered )Last one is the most technical ( even though telegraphed since he´s not trying to hit anybody ,just impact focus ) and ,unlike the 1st one he hits the ball right in the middle -what would had prevented him from hurting his wrist in the 1st one. Judging by the way he rotates both the waist and feet I´m pretty certain this kid does boxing.

@@nathanatkinson2369 it’s the way the machine works , there is no shot in boxing that throws a dig that high elevated unless a 5 ft man is fighting someone 7 + ft high . As the people are showing you goto strike the bag down from the top not straight or to the side .

If you know how to punch and you've done these before...you know that was weak... 800+ decent...850+ you're hurting someone solid 900+ you're knocking someone out cold. 700s you just got love tapped
My hardest was either 913 or 918. My boy Adam (RIP) was TIGHT! Lmao he didn’t wanna admit it cus he was so much bigger than me but he spent ATLEAST another $20 on that thing trying to beat my score hahaha. Size wise he couldn’t believe I hit harder than him. The trick is speed. Faster the punch the higher it registers lol.

I got above 800 at 15 while being skinny and slightly tall. All these guys throw their whole body through it but proper chads just use waists, arm and shoulder. Never would these clowns be allowed 3 seconds to tee-up like they're serving in a calm golf match
Usually the second punch is the best. Tuned from first warm up and still fresh with power. This guy clearly didn’t want kid to break his number or something. Stopping it to coach when the machine was on a roll to pass 800 easy. Why would he not wanna see the first punch data. The sound said it all. It’s about technique no so much power. I seen 12year old hit 800. Timing is best.
How does the scoring work? What score is average? I punched 797 the other day and one of my friends punched 942, we know a bit of technique but never been trained professionally.
The truth of the machine isn't how hard you punch while drawing back. It's how hard you punch as if you were in a fight. Everyone gets this wrong but a solid few. If you draw back to punch on someone who knows how to fight? Well....... I hope you get a good sleep.

As a pro boxer, I really don't like these punch machines.... it doesn't really measure your power it just gives people on the street an ego and something to punch😂.... If it measures your power but it wasn't a speed bag type of Target and it was more of a big solid bag, then the big strong guy probably would have created more damage. this machines target is created for more of an explosive power rather than a heavy power..... Which explosive power is way more effective in fights

First time I hit one I was so nervous I was gonna hit super low and embarrass myself.. I ended up hitting like 885 and then while I sat there all these big guys came up and no one hit over my punch...... 😁😁 they Barely got over 800

These are stupid rocking back and forward build up power. How many people do that in a fight of boxing match. IV seen heavy weights not beat the high score yet I'm pretty sure they would ko 99 percent of people with a fast jab. Half these machines work on speed the machine goes back not the power of the punch hence why the boxers etc hit pads with loads of senors in. I don't understand why some lads are obsessed with these machines. Acting like they are Mike Tyson. Come over the top when your short to lose power? No boxer is going try go over the top they going for a upper cut or like Tyson did come from underneath and push with your legs as well get the power this ladbis doing the best thing for his height
At least he knows how to throw a punch. A lot of people run at it like it's going to help but all the power comes from the hips. I honestly wouldnt punch one of those without my hand being wrapped. Even when I fight, I punch like Baas Rutten used to with his palm. I don't want to break my fingers or wrist.
I did this one time at a bar in Kentucky and there were a bunch of big guys hitting it and was getting around 600. They kept talking shit to me after one of my buddies said I was a fighter. I finally gave in and it the bag with a simple right straight and got like 800 and they shut up. I’m not even that big…goes to show it’s about leverage and technique not how big you are. Although size does help quite a bit.
I remember beating a man at this game at a disabled veteran fundraiser event in Vegas. He scored in the 100’s and I scored a 302 - I’m tiny and a weakling. However, I never throw a fist when an elbow will do.
