What would be your best suggestion for a beginners book on behavior analysis? I'm a nurse and I have taken a few psychology classes and worked at a foresnsic psychiatric facility, but I also don't want to purchase something that might be way over my head. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'm totally addiced to channel❤️!

would u guys look into doing Sebastian Burns and Atif Rafay who got life in prison for atif's family's murder (seattle, 1994). There is the confession tape (the mr big undercover cop tape..filmed from across the room but u can see enough of their body language just not the face except for smiling and laughing...but they did several interviews and even Sebastian's speech to the court after sentencing is telling. You would enjoy this one! It's very interesting...they say they are innocent and that they befriended who they thought was a mobster and then got scared cuz he had long hair and talked tough lol the confession tapes on netflix season 1 episode 1 and 2 has the most footage of the confession tape but the more interesting tapes are interviews by the media...lots of red flags.

Please comment on the body language of a person who was innocent and was incorrectly convicted and try to explain why the jury would have not believed the innocent person.

I think, IMO, the jury has to go with evidence brought by both parties not their reading of body language.

Are you being serious right now? Body language is not evidence nor is it used to convict someone. It’s a TOOL that helps investigators during interrogations, testimony, etc. It’s not “proof” of guilt or innocence but clues to what is going on subconsciously.

CPR!! Absolutely correct as a nurse I have done CPR over a hundred times and we would rotate compressions between 3-4 people every 5-10 minutes. It is physically draining...longest was 1.5 hours because we would get a heart beat back for a minute here and there. Couldn't hardly move or walk for a week after and we rotated every 5-10 minutes.

Here’s the one thing I’m noticing - noticing as an artist - her eye shape. The outside of her eyes are higher than most, which makes her appear happy, friendly, and trustworthy. If we only saw her eyes, without knowing her story or anything about her, I think her eye-shape would seriously deceive us (well me for sure). She’s definitely nuts (being technical there 😂)

I’m so glad you guys are doing this case. I live in Hickory North Carolina and I remember when Zahra went missing. Our community rallied together to find her, and were DEVASTATED when it was announced that it was no longer a search/rescue, it had become a recovery. All of us fell in love with this beautiful brave little girl who met an u speakable end at the hands of a psychopathic pathological liar. We were even more enraged when Zahra’s father wasn’t charged in her murder. The house Zahra was brutally murdered in is still there. I go past it everyday on my way to work. The community came together and raised money to build a park in her name that is handicapped accessible. I take my children there often and we read the plaque that has Zahra’s picture on it , that lets people know who she was. Elisa Baker is EVIL and doesn’t deserve to EVER get out of prison. Rest In Peace with the angels Zahra ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Chase was spot on when he said, 'we're so anxious to diagnose', and that's become even more the case as of late, especially with the younger generations-often with lay people eagerly self-labeling extremely complex personality disorders they know little to nothing about. As someone who works in the criminal mental health arena, I think/say this often. The diagnostic label is mostly unimportant. It's the behaviors and patterns that matter at the end of the day, and how said behaviors effect the disordered person and those with whom they have a relationship.

I also love the super short bits which focus on one or two red flags or a cluster of signs. This particular episode is creepy but actually helped me call out some highly dysfunctional behaviour in one of my clients (I’m a psychotherapist). Done the Body Language Tactics course, going through the ellipsis manual now and 6 minute X-Ray, read Scott’s book and now on Mark’s Truth and Lies (love Pease and Navarro books too). You’ve opened my eyes for much improved communication with my clients and we’re getting good results together in a quicker time frame. Excellent for getting on with life confidently. To Greg: when you say that “people know who they are, they don’t need to find the words” - this is what I disagree. When people ask me to define me, then I find it very difficult to answer (even if I have prepared for the interview for example or meeting somebody for a first time). For me it’s very difficult to describe myself to others, and somebody asking that question would time and time again, make me go back and search who I am at that moment. I do believe (or I hope), I’m the only one 😃 That doesn’t mean I feel sympathy for that woman for what she has done though, no matter what’s your childhood, everybody make their decisions which direction to go, even if you have been badly abused as a child 😞 Love your channel guys, my favorite! 😘

I wonder if you guys will do Darrell Brooks (Kenosha Xmas parade) and Judge Jenifer Darow. i think she really triggered him by treating him as a difficult child, with great patience. "treating me like child", "I'm a grown man", "ain't nobody tells me what to do", "How come you can do what you want and I can't?" or words to that effect.

I really respect the opinion of these professionals! In one video Mark talks about Stanislavskij (in another video) , having studied that acting technique myself it was greatly appreciated! I love your grammar lessons, I think America really needs to hear them and take copious notes. Also, you can use these skills in ANYTHING! Keep it coming boys, great content!

Man! This is so triggering. My ex used tell me I was wrong even when I recorded his behavior and replayed it he denied what happened.

I love what Chase said about labeling! Greg really knows this type well. Everything he said about lying and not being accountable is spot on. My parents are so much like her. And they are brawlers! Getting into crazy fights everywhere! Thank God I am still alive....

It's also astounding that she thinks this is a good thing. Or thinks we'll think it's a good thing - that she treated another kid better to the point of jealousy of the others

Okay first off… I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I just discovered your show last night and have watch six two hour long episodes already lol I’m OBSESSED with true crime and it’s awesome to have you all give a completely different perspective that most of us don't see on the surface. Secondly, I love her!! TG for RU-vid because I couldn’t watch her without it since it’s from Australia, but she’s amazing. She always gets to that perfect RBF look towards the end and you can tell she’s just done with the BS. On the flip side, when she’s interviewing a victim of something, she so compassionate and comforting. You guys are awesome and I’m now a lifer!! Thank you!! ❤❤

Ive listened to a few podcasts and watched a few interviews/documentaries. This case is a very tough pill to swallow. Zahra was such a beautiful soul an already endured so much in her short 10 years. I have very and many strong opinions on this case. I wonder if they have any clips on her dad? I'd love to hear about him too. I'm from AUS so hello from here. Island state of Tasmania. ( They forget us off most maps!) I tell my partner whenever I watch you guys headphones on tablet on a stick." I'm hanging with my four favourite lads again."

Regarding the "yes ma'am"s, that may just be the southern in her. We moved to Arkansas when my son was 10 and I was 40. It's been 7 years now and "yes sir, yes ma'am" is automatic when my son speaks to most people older than him. I grew up in the Midwest and doubt it'll ever feel natural for me to speak that way, but I see it here in most people's normal speaking patterns. 🤷

In my opinion, i think shes a sociopath and knows exactly how to mimic emotions really well in order to get what she wants. The smiles, the sadness, brightness in her eyes etc. She’s been in more than enough situations, married to more than enough people in order to be able to do this so well. Even at her worst, she is still trying to get the interviewer/viewers to see her how she wants them to see her.
