Fun starter ars nouveau spells: Break- add extract to get silk touch, amplify to get higher tier break strength one for diamond two for netherite, add AOE 2x for 3x3, add item pick up to auto pick up the drops, chain will act like vein miner and can further be augmented with pierce or AOE to extend how far it searches for the same block. Mage light- as many have said if self cast gives glowing and night vision. Extend time as many times as you want. Smelt- can be cast on entities using sensitive and split or AOE can cover a larger area or smelt more items. This means you can smelt an entire stack of items instantly with no fuel by tossing it on the ground and casting at it with enough split and sensitive. The sensitive goes after the smelt to do this.
