LAS VEGAS -- Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce helped the Chiefs win their second straight Super Bowl with a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night, but there was one moment during the game that quickly went viral and left many fans with questions. Kelce's vibe at the end of the game was an emphatic change after he bumped Andy Reid on the sideline during the second quarter, knocking the 65-year-old Kansas City coach a few steps back after teammate Isiah Pacheco fumbled inside the red zone. Kelce ran over to Reid and screamed at him after the fumble. "You guys saw that?" Kelce said. "I'm going to keep it between us unless my mic'd up tells the world. I was just telling him how much I loved him." Reid said Kelce just wanted to be on the field.
"There's nobody I get better than I get him," Reid said. "He's a competitive kid. He loves to play. He makes me feel young. But my balance is terrible." This was the second sideline incident involving Kelce and Reid this season.

A 30ish man 6’5” 250 lbs who screams at and pushes a 70 ish man who had a recent hip replacement is dangerous. Football players have a history of violence especially towards women. The coach was embarrassed by his vulnerability. If you had listened between the lines you would have heard what he said about his new hip being tested and his lack of balance. Stupidest take regarding Travis Kelce's rage problem I've read yet. He has aggression but it's not directed at his coach? The man he purposefully body checked? Coach Reid could have fallen and hurt himself. TK had no respect for his coach. That's kind of a big red flag in football. This whole situation reminded me of a husband who comes home enraged about something at work then comes home and beats the crap out of wife because dinner is not ready at that exact moment. Come on guys. I usually love your content but I think maybe you may have missed the boat here. It sounds to me like you are excusing Kelce’s ridiculous tantrum for some reason I don’t understand. Look, the reality is that he embarrassed himself and his team on a worldwide stage. I would wager to say that Andy isn’t as “okay” with the tantrum as everyone seems to think. Just my .02.

I'm not naturally competitive, but being married to an athlete and surrounded by athletes exposes me to the intensity of big games like this one, where emotions can run high. Witnessing passionate outbursts, like Travis's, can be both thrilling and unsettling. While I strive to maintain my best behavior, I'm grateful there aren't cameras capturing every moment. How about you? Have you ever found yourself in a situation where emotions overwhelmed your ability to regulate them? If such intense moments become common in everyday life, it could indicate a larger issue that needs addressing.

There is no excuse for what Kelce did, again. NO excuse. Hes got a serious pattern of these exact instantces of complete loss of control. If that type of action was tolerated you would see everyone up in the coaches face. Kelce is very lucky Andy Reid is a very seasoned nice individual but at this point he's allowing this to happen. In highschool football he would be either and /or benched, kicked off team, suspended. on and on. Yes, they are adults playing professional football, they should be acting like adults but apparently the nfl doesnt care about that at all as long as they sell tickets. Kelce is also lucky hes a good tightend on a good team or he would be disciplined and/or fined. Andy Reid is doing his job at that moment and the whole time on the field. A majorly important JOB that even Kelce couldnt do. Now what if Reid ran out on the field and screamed at the top of his lungs and nudged kelce? or if any coach could do that? Its just bizarre to hear people defend it at all.

The fact the teammate felt he had to come over and intervene actually says more to me. Could be wrong, but makes me think this is not the first time Kelce has gone off. Not knowing much about him, I kinda thought he was a nice good ole boy, now I’m hoping he isn’t an "Eddie Haskell.” Right now they have to protect his reputation as he is the golden boy of the moment. I have a lot of respect for your group, but am floored at how badly you got this wrong! Andy Reid is 65 flipping years old and heavy! I'm so angry, I don't know where to start! That wasn't passion, it was frustration, which resulted in aggression. You CANNOT chalk it off to passion, adrenaline or testosterone. He was pissed that he wasn't in the game and the ball got fumbled. He was raging! My husband is 6'3", 260 lb, played football and was a police officer for many years. Cops have to have self discipline - when they are fighting with a junkie, a domestic violence participant - you name it. They are trained to not get so amped up that they hurt someone. He is always aware of his size and strength, particularly with me. (I'm 5'2'). Quite frankly when the Niners lost, he got up and went out to his shop. He didn't put a hole in the wall or scream at the dog - he controlled his anger and deflected it (I haven't seen the shop yet. lol). As a former HR Director of 36 years, I would have insisted on fines for him. He is employed by the team and everything he does represents the team. We all know if Travis wasn't one of the best and favored players, that crap wouldn't fly. Additionally, the creepiest part of the clips for me was when he did his "boyish" smile and said I told him I loved him. It's obvious, he has gotten out of scrapes this way his whole life. This is why so many have said Taylor better watch out. Don't really care about her, but how many young girls might see this display and your assessment and think it's ok to date someone like that. But the part that really makes my stomach hurt, is how you all blew it off. How many women who have been battered, watched this display and then saw four professionals just blowing it off. I hope there is an apology going out to those women and children from you guys. I enjoy your group, but you should be big enough to admit you got it wrong.

People often use the word passion to excuse aggression.and abuse. I think it's dangerous. I'm not saying that's what Greg is doing. I am also huge fan of the Chiefs, so I've had a lot of time to watch Kelce. Now, we've talked about empathy on fb, but I will say the minute I saw him and Swift together, I knew it wouldn't work in the long run. Kelce is all fun and games until someone gets hurt. I feel his ego is pretty huge. If he would have proposed to Taylor on the field, that would have been grandstanding, a highly Narcissistic move, so I'm glad he didn't. Kelce also has a history of minor infractions, and behaviors that suggest entitlement as he laughs them off.( seen on his podcast with his brother) I just can't get over that rabid dog look of anger as he was In Andy Reids face as he marched right into his personal space, nearly knocking him over. I see it as abusive and rude, not passionate. Coach makes the calls, so the play in question, that was fumbled, was Reids call. I've had people in my face like that before- namely my mom, and ex and it was pure abuse, not passion. I was so excited you guys got on this so quickly, but I must respectfully disagree. Thanks
