This begs the question, what do the Eagles do with Nick Sirianni? The best coaches are those who will always have stability on one side of the ball when coordinators get new coaching jobs, for example Andy Reid, Kyle Shannahan, Sean McVey, and others. The Eagles have not had that since Andy Reid left. When Doug Pederson lost Frank Reich (not bashing on Pederson BTW), the offense wasn’t the same, when Nick Sirianni lost Shane Steichen. We saw what Nick’s offense was last season, and the scheme itself is very bland and predictable. Are we going to continue to go on this cycle on relying on great OC’s and then lose them. This is why I have questions about Nick Sirianni and the Eagles future coaching staff.

He barely does anything! He acts like the feel-good, player's coach that's so in touch with the team, yet had no answer for the tail spin last season, and was even contributing to sideline drama. Sure, he probably had input on the offense, but what head coach doesn't? He inherited a team that's had the 4th most pro-bowlers since 2020. That's it!

Philly 500 you hit the nail on the head about Sirianni. He is stubborn about his offense. When he finally let Steichen take over in 2022 the result spoke for itself. In 2023 he would not adjust and the collapse happened. This year the offense takes off with Kellen Moore! Go Birds! 🦅..and Dallas stinks!

How is he stubborn but let somebody eles take over the offense. That is the total opposite of stubborn because he would have stayed the play caller. Like I get this is how it can go here in Philly and fans can turn on a player and coach. But you cannot say the man doesn't listen and is stuck but he WILLINGLY gave up play calling. He didn't even call plays last year. Also what Stecichen ran was Sirianni's offense he didn't place in a whole new playbook. More than likely Nick isn't some HOF coach but got dang he isn't horrible either.

If Eagles go deep into the play-offs, you have to consider hiring Moore as HC. NFCC appearance means Fangio had a decent season and is not likely gonna go anywhere at this stage in his career. He’ll be happy to retire as an Eagle when the time comes. He should be looking to develop his replacement the next season or two. On the offensive side of that equation it means Moore had a successful year and as you stated, when Nick handed the play-calling off to the Steichen, there was a marked change in production. If that cycle repeats with Moore at helm of the O, then you really have to retain him and that means HC. Nick believes in competition.

Just for the record Kellen Moore had his best success when he was calling plays for Dak Prescott not the other way around, Dak was runner-up for league MVP with McCarthy calling plays last season, Kellen Moore got fired last season. The Eagles going to the NFC championship game a year removed from that defense 😂

this is quite a conundrum for the eagles. you know McCarthy is finished in Dallas and if Moore helps Jalen light it up what do you do? do you let jerry jones grab Moore? do you kick Sirianni upstairs to work with personnel? keeping Sirianni and letting Moore go would be a disaster for this team. Another new coordinator would fuck hurts up unless Moore has a disciple in the wings.

To be fair the eagles have been top 10 to top 3 in red zone TD percentage the past few years (during which Hurts has been starter). They have converted 2/3 of red zone possessions into TDs. The tush push may not be the most interesting play but it’s definitely effective

NFC Championship game? With all those changes? Other teams don't stand still. Green Bay, Detroit, 49ers, possibly Tampa Bay, LA Rams, and yeah, Dallas, will all be in the mix along with the Eagles. Same hype pre-season every year by Philly blogs and sports writers, and then 10-1 becomes 11-6, which could be the ceiling for the Eagles this year. Too many unknowns this year.
