Honestly, last night's events felt like MU 2012 all over again. They made use of Samantha's huge fanbase to gain support from the Filipinos, and it worked considering how much screentime Sam had from the Preliminaries down to the finals. I don't even need to go deep into the answers during the Q and A because both the first and second Q and A sessions were aced by the Philippines. Miss USA's answers were something everyone watching expected, and it's not carrying the same substance as what Sam had said. It's honestly so tiring, seeing how they try so hard to keep the Philippines from winning the golden crown. Miss Grand International is entertaining, but that's all it's ever going to be. It will never be a pageant that fosters fair judgment and justified decisions. They need to change their ways, not because of the Philippines, but because their reputation diminishes every single time they commit these types of obvious and unfair acts.

I guess Ms. Samantha's was the most technical, practical and scientific answer and should have won the competition. It was so hard to organize that idea .in that very short period of time and was so witty of her,,, of not sacrificing anyone but saving both was very amazing.. the judges should have thought of the very technical aspect of her answer which was factually supported by scientific explanation... if scores were back to zero, what influenced the judges to declare the winner other than the deserving one? very intelligent woman indeed!!

I still think Philippines deserve to have the crown. Philippines' answer was the most solid, to think they said the scores of the last 3 ladies standing were zeroed and so the answer to the last question should be the basis. Besides, they said the girls' scores tied. However, 1st runner up is still a good placement. Congrats Samantha and also Miss USA.

Samantha fought hard. From not getting a crown in Binibini three times to almost getting one internationally is an amazing feat. What I love about her is that she rose up to the challenge. Proved the doubters that she has what it takes. She might have not won the crown but I’m pretty sure she’s so proud of herself still. Chin up, Sam!

MUST READ!!! My two sisters were arguing about the QnA result and suddenly asked me about my opinion. When I heard the question, I quickly chose the "fifteen yo". But when I heard Sam's answer, he drastically changed my perspective. It was as if I had come to my senses. Grabeh natauhan ako! I kept saying to myself, "Oo nga 'noh?" The fact that their scores got back to zero, the PHILIPPINES should have won.

The probability of having a triple tie is so low, I think the winner there is the PH but nawat don't like that country so what they did was to make it as if they are all having the same scores. Is it either for 15year old or a 70 year old senior citizen. (And please take note, the question didn't state that these 2 given people are dying, so you just only need to choose what's the best. The answer for Ms. Philippines and Ms. USA are both correct but for me, Ms. Philippines stands out the answer. She answered it well and i strongly agree with her. The teenager has more stamina than senior citizen so, we can still find ways how to help the teenager(common sense) and so i think its a both win-win situation for the 15year old and senior citizen. But probably, if the question states that these 2 person are dying and they need to choose one, so of course, the answer is obvious already.... In The end of The day, The decision oN The Owner of The pageant (mr. Nawat). No matter How good your answer, if he dont have a click with The queen then game over. Every pageant have their spesific ideal winner figure. In My humble opinion, PH answering The final question so flawless. But something special from USA that take mr nawat attention (including me as a viewer). She so memorable figure and so Cheerful that fit with MGI brand. For me PH more fit in MU or MI brand (innocent) same as GUATEMALA fit MW (so queenly and calming figure). Note:i am Indonesian.

Miss Ghana/USA said 16yo instead of 15yo.. Miss Phil answer was realistic because these vaccines produced are not for teenagers. Result Seemed bias and can create another tension between MGI and Filipinos which Mr. Nawat a businessman really liked. More issues, more talks, more news = good business = more $$££ for Mr. Nawat.

Miss Grand International is known to be over dramatic that is why in order for a candidate to win she must also be a good actress.This pageant don't have credibility and originality. They don't even have real advocay they said to stop the war but they're the one who disobey that advocacy by giving an unfair result that really creates tension to those who know who the real winner is.

SOMEONE MUST HAVE HEARD THIS RIGHT. SAM's answer representing the Philippines at the tie question at Miss Grand was clinically correct. Protocol wise, as well. She would rather give a vaccine to a 60+ year old person who is most vulnerable, like her mother whom she can not afford to lose after her father's death, thus speaking from her heart, than to a 15 year old who she said can fight back the covid more given the healthier lifestyle than the seniors and elders. There are more deaths from among the elderly from covid than from the younger set . Certainly, she pinned the data on the highest covid vulnerability amongst the seniors, who is next in line after the medical frontliners, the young ones the least. It made a formidable sense. Miss USA, the winner, prefered to give it to a 15 year old, which she answered for a 16 year old ( not able to pick up this figure right to her proper hearing). Miss USA answered " the-youth- is the-future -of- the- land" sort of thing and mincing her stumbling memorized Thai words the world audience did not understand. It was unfair to the citizens of the world left with their jaws hanging in poker faces what the heck she was mumbling about. It was disconnecting her to the world just for her to please the Thais, narrowing her audience exclusively. I thought it was damn rude. Etiquette says never ever talk to someone in a dialect or language they do not understand. Else, they will feel slighted. Miss USA gave a misleading answer short of being unaware because covid vaccines are not approved to be used for 15 years old ( even 18 to some ) and younger because this is the minimum approved age for Pfizer , Moderna, Sinovac and Astra Zeneca. MGI is giving a FALSE ALARM about giving vaccines to 15 years old in the first place? The WHO can run after them with the false information? And Miss USA will kill the 16 year old with that vaccine? This is wrong. The world cringed . Judges were unaware? Ridiculous. ( One of the judges was the MGI Thailand who body shamed Catriona Gray. ) Sam's answer was cultural too, for the sake of humanity, among the greatest value of Asians as we treasure our elders to live as long we can embrace them. We felt her words. Hers was compassion to the elders. Miss USA was mechanical to the point of trying to be artificially witty in Thai and being comical but in poor taste,---we remember her slapstick " Palaging May Ghana" in Miss Earth which did not impress the jury and audience at all. Miss USA was eating her words and was immensely nervous. It did not create an impact of naturalness. That made a huge difference ,too. Am not saying this because I am Filipino. These images were beamed live across the globe, the citizens of the world can spot these details. The winner from USA was a former Miss Ghana Universe contestant then an unplaced Miss Ghana in Miss Earth years back and who also trained in the Philippines under former Miss Universe Philippines MJ Lastimosa, from the same camp that trained Sam. Beauty pageant organizers should also make sure their questions are correct. It has to be careful with questions on facts, science and politics. Specially in tie scores, they too should do deliberations on the final choices for the winner to represent the organization who will articulate the mission and values of the organization better. Not all the tally of scores can translate to the organizers' ideals. Did the judges understand the question was wrong in the first place? And most think it was answered wrongly, too, by the grand winner? It is a contest, we lose, we win. We respect the judges' decision. We accept it, but MGI does not want to give us the crown. My gut feel. It finds ways to waste our articulate beauties in the case of Sam and the previous delegates in this competition. As Filipinos, our standard of intellectual bearers in our beauty queens is immensely high and we look at this with impartiality holding that decisions should be based on objective criteria, rather than on the basis of bias, prejudice, or preferring the benefit to one person over another for improper reasons. I feel that Ms. Philippines should have won, given her over-all superb performance, mind you, from begining to the end she was on point much like a performing artist that she is as a dancer. The world crowned her already with praises and admiration. Sam was true to herself by being herself and she was immensely elegant. She was the most confident, not stammering and eating her words.
