if anyone falls for this scam, it is absolutely petrifying because you can't do ANYTHING! even if you report, adopt me will not take action since it may seem to them as if you were offering for their pets or they were offering for your pets and both of you accepted. adopt me may think that it's an unnecessary report and will not bother replying to your report! for anyone who has fallen for this scam, I am extremely sorry! ty for spreading awareness
When you report in trade license you can choose "i didn't do this trade" so you can use It and adopt me get Ur pets back but actually trade license doesn't work...
If they do not take a good look at what they are exchanging, it is very easy for them to scam you since while you are writing concentrated the other adds pets so that you can respond quickly and takes out the valuable pet, in this case the frost dragon. :)
There's no point in chasing them after you got scammed because they're not going to give it back to you no matter how hard you try to make them give it back
actually something similar happened to me today. So my dp is a frost so i was offer all of my best pets, the person was amazed and said that they liked the trade. So then the person added a bunch of things that related w/ snow,ice exetera. They said their fingers slipped and added it again. But the next thing i knew they took it out luckily i noticed. Tysm for spreading awareness about scams 💗
One of the craziest scams I ever witnessed and recorded. A girl told us if we did her maze that she would give the winner a leg. Cool, I just wanted to do the maze I told her I don’t want a prize and started recording so I could show the maze on my TT. Anyways there were signs that said you had to give her a pet to start so like 3-4 people give her a pet & I donated one. Anyways we all started the maze but it lead to nowhere 😂 when she saw we were onto her she left the server
So just a tip for you is that, when answering questions just press / and type in the chat box, there you can see the pets and its more likely to notice changes. Take care
When i was offering for frost, the person always declined the trade and asked " are you sure? " And " you promise you accept and add after? " And in second trade i noticed the frost was gone. I declined and said " i saw that scammer " and they left the server right after. Be careful everyone !!!
Honestly I don’t play adopt me not sure why this was recommended but… I’m sorry this happened to you and also remember to always see what you actually will receive before doing things like this. It can be avoidable very easily. Still sorry however just remember and learn from this.

Oh this happens a lot in Animal Jam (play wild)- they add a very good thing, and then add a bunch of other stuff, take out the very good thing and accept. Except in AJPW, there are pages you have to flip through, so it'd hard to see if they removed it or not. Take a good look at what you're trading before you do it!
There’s also another scam so basically they’ll say in chat “trading __ for ___” basically overpaying. Once you get the pet they say “oh my brother actually wants ___” making u overpay for the other stuff. Once u got it they say “tell ur friend to join I wanna see if ur loyal” at this point I knew what they made me do but I didn’t know what was coming up. I got an alt to join and they traded me and asked what my best pet in which was a shadow dragon. They said to trade it to my friend. After I did they told my alt to give back the shadow dragon. But in my alt I saw a person with the same exact username as mine just the 2nd and 3rd letters switched. They got a baby avatar to hide and trade my alt. Luckily, I realized and when I declined the fake me they left the game but the worst part is when I joined them after they left many people called them a scammer. I wish the people in my other server said that too.
it happens so much i stg but everytime i run away and tell them to leave me alone when they scam bc I’m a baby usually for bucks and they pick me up and drag me across the map lmao. it gets so annoying
I got scammed this way but at least when it happened to me it wasn’t that bad cause there were Lots of neon legendarys so it was probably even a fair trade after ☠️
I used to have been scammed very often, and I found myself getting very addicted to trying to get my virtual pets back, so I pretty much just quit the game. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else :(
Same I used to have like an evil unicorn and a bat dragon but A LOT of steps happened for me to end up with a strawberry bat dragon, and other common pets easily

There's also ppl going around saying about a rainbow rattle but it's the rattle from 2022 I almost got scammed by it but luckily someone said its from 2022 and I declined then they left
I fell for this and my mega pheonix was gone. but thank you for reminding us and now i am here again restarting but now i have a NFR shark and NFR pheonix ! its sorta pretty good almost quit so yeah thank u again
I noticed something actually when scammers do this they even dont what support you use to play roblox and actually you're pc player but your window is a low higher than for a mobile player so you cant get scam cuz you can see what ppl trade while typing 🤣
Another scam is they tell u to pick a door/color for a vid. to play it u must give them ur most valued pet and if u pick the wrong door they claim u get it back but u dont and before u can report them they just leave.
OMG THAT WAS THE SAME PERSON THAT WANTED TO SCAM ME , they told me to go to hospital and he would trade his bat dragon for my owl , i was confused and I was about to hit accept but I noticed just in time
Omg this remindes me of when i got scammed this way, my scammer added a nrf owl, r dragon,n parrot, limo and i added nfr , n frost strawberry shortcake, m lunar white tiger. She took away the nrf owl then i dident realize, i accepted then i realized but i was in rich server so a lot of people noticed thankgodly. I still quited adopt me 5 weeks bc i was so depressed 😭 I will never fall for this scam again im so stupid 💔 tysm for doing this vid 🍁
Storytime: I don't have neons in adopt me and a girl said in the chat that she was trading like four neons so I traded her (I don't remember the neons but they were common or uncommon) yea so I put like my ride koala, my golden uni my ride snowball and my starfish and she removed a few neons cuz she was thinking I was under. Then she accepted the first trade and I did to but before it took me to the second trade adopt me sent me a warning that said " this trade seems unfair be careful you could be getting scammed" I rlly wanted the neons but I declined. ⚠️ TRUST ADOPT ME DONT IGNORE THEM⚠️
tip for scamming: the second you get into the trade, screenshot the user, if they scam look at ur photos app, copy the user and report them if they don't scam, delete the screenshot or use it for future
If they ask you where you were born even if its just the country, report them immediately for persinal questions and they'll get banned with all their hardwork gone.
i'm quitting adopt me (for now) which is sad because i had 50-60 legs, because when i was trading a pet there was this girl saying "guys should i accept" and everyone was screaming no and i was really sad because i wanted to do that trade and i said "i you decline im literally going to quit" they declined and everyone was giving me death threats and saying really mean stuff so now i'm taking a break. i even cried irl because of how scared i was. lmao, what has adopt me become?
I got scammed a similar way from my frost dragon but instead they replaced it with a ice grappling hook and it looked the same and I did repot the trade but unfortunately adopt me doesn’t look at trade reports
i usually trade and overpay if i want the pet & i’m comfortable to do so, but depends on the pet and what the person wants. i have attached myself to my children (pets)
Scammers are why i almost quit adopt me. I kept reporting each time i was scammed, (same for my friends), but i never got my pets back. Luckily, i somehow, after losing everything, i started over. And by no means am i rich, but im grateful to have pets.
That's exactly what happened to me i was adding for a mega turtle but then suddenly when i accept it was just a regular turtle and i had put a mega unicorn and alot of other stuff... I was so sad after this but now i have better pets but still don't underdtand how ppl can be so stuborn
Once I got scammed like this! So basically they told me to add and we were talking about the trade and I was offering a white bear I think and basically I was telling her what I was gonna add and I remember in her offer she had a mythic egg I was most excited about that and I didn’t even realise she removed it when I was telling what to add! A person actually tried to do this to me for my neon albino monkey I was kinda suspicious at first when he said "Good offer! But you need to answer 3 questions before we do the trade" and he told me to accept the trade first i said no first ask me the questions and he was yelling and then suddenly he said fine and i was a slow typer so he removed the frost dragon and added a frost furry and i noticed it and i said "do you think i'am blind?" and then he instantly left the server LoL it was a funny action but still stay safe from these scams because i dont seriously play adopt me my friend quitted and gave me his pets and i just troll in adopt me because adopt me is an game for 8 year old and they will do their epic trust trade and lose whatever shit they had so yeah stay stuff ig..
I got scammed for my fr owl on Halloween like this. So they were trading their neon bat dragon and some other pets. I added my owl and all my good pets until they kept typing in chat to me and i didnt notice they took off the bat dragon. I was really upset bc I couldn't do anything abt it. I rlly miss my owl! :(
its easy to not fall for it here is the answer: they say answer the questions first then they will accept without you noticing then you accept after you answer they accept for the next confirmation BUT you can notice that they accepted and then you decline hope this helps
Watch out for this scam. Make sure if somebody says I have a neon pet and you say please trade me make sure you tell them to bring them out their neon pet first so we can see if it is not a scammer, but if he says just trade, then maybe he is a scammer
Adopt me players should be knowing this scam also so this scam is like this (example)scammer:LOOKING FOR A (name) /and he or she trades the person on what shes looking for/the scammer will overpay a bat dragon to what she or hes looking for/the alt acc says “nty” and look for offers first +no one does that!/so you or i offer the pet that the scammer was looking for and then u overpay/When u trade the scammer with the item or pet he or shes looking for the scammer will say”oops sorry i already have that”/You will never trade back the scammers alt acc so be carful guys!

I got scammed exactly like this earlier today, the scammer said he would do his shadow for the arctic, I got too distracted on the questions and didn’t notice the missing pet, he also made me add so I lost my mega arctic and got nothing in return. I got scammed like this 3 days ago for my mega kangaroo which I worked ages for. I had gotten a neon owl which I traded for giraffe,crow and tombstone. Which I traded the giraffe for mega kangaroo and neon turtle and neon unicorn. And I got scammed like this for kangaroo
