Odds of seeing 29/60 cards and drawing 14/20 lands is about 1.75%. Sounds low, but if you play 8 games a day with this deck it'll happen to you once a week

You should use this deck to rise to mythic on a new account. Maybe for a charity stream?

Everybody is all about the CGB vs Jin memes but I just love hearing about how much CGB HATES Delver of Secrets EVERY single time blue comes up. I think it didn't flip for him once...

Is my imagination of the shuffler has been crazy lately. I mean it always has been, but in last weeks i feel it is not unusual to see stuff like the game against toxic

Was wondering why I was farming this deck so much this morning. It has a horrendous match up vs GW Toxic, felt like I was 70/30 vs it.

Really appreciate the improvements of Untapped and easily accessible stats!

I don't know what that last update did to the matchmaker or shuffler but my own games and the games of people I've been watching have been outright bizzare. Too many mirror matches or counter matches to be statistically probable. Also every other game I get several duplicate cards in a row like these lands/shore ups.

Shredder has been on my list since I've seen crokeyz use it to demolish monored. Damn thing is utterly impossible for them to deal with.

CGB "cheap to build" is the fact there is a common in the deck.

How do you run 20 lands and not get mana screwed all the time? I run 26 in most of my decks and get screwed over non stop

Full set of Triskaidekaphile would be fun to try out instead of shredder. Though, I don't think it would perform close to as good. Shredder offers a discard option which is much more useful in this style of deck.

I’ve found 1-2 copies of Blue Suns Twilight to perform very well in a similar deck on ladder. Nothing more satisfying than stealing a Sheoldred

I think the most fascinating thing about Mono Blue tempo has been the fact that Flow of Knowledge has slowly gone from unplayable to sometimes being a 4 of over the course of the meta!

I kinda copy this deck and replace impulse with experimental augury and added a karn sylex for a little boardwipe action, it works fine, thanks CGB

Delver plus otherworldly gaze is better than brainstorm, at least in terms of forcing flips because of the cheap flashback cost

yep that's exactly why I stopped playing MTGA because of weird mana floods with 18-20 land decks I understand a couple of times but I was getting it consistently. Ah oh well IRL magic is more fun anyways.

Yeah, this is also why you shouldn’t have counters in the “Poison Ivy” deck. It wants this same strat, but also has a chance to combo finish

I've not played Arena in so long year or maybe a little more nor have I watched any content for that matter, New laptop thought what the hell I have 70k in coins that I saved up and never used as I was happily rocking the white blue dream trawler in historic yes that's how long ago it was! my go-to is always mono blue however. It's good to be back after an extended break what have I missed!

In theory, it’s a good concept. However, pretty weak deck against the Meta; 6 win 14 loss. Many times I needed a counter spell to win the match. I do like the theory craft.

ugh, I absolute detest Haughty Djinn and Mono Blue Tempo. So unfun. I don't even find satisfaction in winning.

I really really do hate mono blue with passion. When I see a "Delver of Secrets" or a "Haughty Djinn" I just conced and close the game for the rest of the day.

He said he's building around the cycle card Flow Of Knowledge, that's the card for blue. What are the cards for other colors?

Been trying to make big simic work, there were 6 cards with mana above 5. Guess what in 24 out of 26 games I got 3 or 4 of those cards in opening hand and in followed mulls. Shuffler is rigged as heck...

I've been an avid watcher of your content CGB, love your unique take on deckbuilding and strategy! I'm pretty new to Arena myself, and I've been trying out this deck (my first time actually investing wildcards). I LOVE IT! This deck is so much fun to play, I'm always on the edge of defeat but manage to clutch it out with an unexpected tempo play for that one extra sweet turn where I hit them with my pair of 9/4 Djinns 🙂 Overall I have a 69% winrate with this deck (nice), with 75% on the draw. That's some quality deckbulding right there... This deck totally dunks on mono-red and soldiers, it's not even funny. The toughest matchup I've had with this deck has consistently been against poison, especially the Ivy variant. Not having actual removal for the rotpriest is painful 😕 Anyway, back to the ladder. Thanks for making me fall back in love with MTG!
