This is my first time commenting on your channel but just wanted to say how refreshing it is to hear you talk about goals you no longer want to pursue or ones that just don't feel as compelling anymore. I have a hard time even getting my goals on paper sometimes because I get caught up in the committing to "forever" mentality. Love your videos!
THANK YOU for being vulnerable and sharing this. This means a lot especially for those of use who have a "perfectionist" mindset and feel so much pressure internally and those contributed by external ones (society, cultural, etc.). This is just me saying ALL THE INTEREST in the team/business templates! 💛 Wishing the could just be released now! Just purchased your design your year templates - and can't even begin express how thankful I am for them! It's like you were in my mind and did all the research/design for me so I didn't have to. They were so easy to customize to my own needs, and my favorite part was that you clearly put a lot of thought into simplifying/streamlining the templates so it doesn't feel overwhelming to fill out everyday - without leaving out anything important. My business processes need this same upgrade!!
I love this video so much! My favorite part was when you talked about what we perceive as failures but really are just the natural development of some things, and how important it is to have grace and recognize we don't relate to this plans anymore instead of trying to force it. For myself personally I have noticed that I thrive the most in curiosity and letting things go their way. This was the first year I have allowed myself not to plan the year month by month and so many wonderful things have happened. I still plan my days and have tasks but the main bulk of important and life changing things happened in spur of the moment decisions and "what if I do this?" and I'm so happy because of it. Still love seeing your planning videos tho!
Hi Jules! I'm here to thank you for this video. I'm 21y, a portuguese girl that started working last year, and now I know that I want to start my own business. This is my main goal. I don't have a lot of experience in my area (accounting) but I have time. It's important to remember that I only have 21y. It's important to reset our mind and set up new goals. I love that you share the mindset that it’s ok to change goals or postpone goals or just change your mind completely about goals! Working toward a goal should make you feel happy and motivated not stressed and bored. Thank you so much for sharing Jules!

One thing that I struggle with a TON is having a system or process that works - I have tried so many different things, notion, digital planners, physical planners, and I just can't get into a routine of getting one of them to really work for me and it is so frustrating, but hopefully I will be able to figure it out before school starts back up again.
I feel this way. I have been using my iPhone as my planning system. Reminders is really powerful! And there are apps that take reminders and iCal or google cal and put all tasks and events in one place. I like that I can say “hey Siri add __ to my grocery list” right when I run out of something, and that I don’t have to open my phone and get distracted while doing something. Good luck with school!

I've paused the video because this question is so align with my life right now - if I wasn't afraid, I would quit my job to go content create or freelance so I can have more flexibility and be present with my kids and also not have to commute for over an hour.
I want to do a TED X talk but it terrifies meeeee. I think the idea of people listening just makes the impostor syndrome come out and literally holds me back! Working on it though! :)

binge watching about 5-10 of your vids so far. is RU-vid video shooting and publishing bascially 80% of your job? i paid attention to your yearly/monthly goals, saw nothing like a real job there. so i assume you're born rich or your husband is earning a lot. and if i'm not mistaken, your goals are basically nothing related to actual jobs but personal development. so yeah, envy people like you
