Hi Anders, I'm watching your videos all the way from Morocco and I just wanted to let you know how awesome they are. You're a great guy and an excellent provider of valuable information! Our discussions on Discord about POD have been so enlightening, and your sound advice has been incredibly helpful in guiding me towards long-term success. Keep up the amazing work, and I'm excited to see what other insights you have in store for us!
Thank you so much for your kind comment, I appreciate it! I am really happy to hear my videos have been helpful to you :) Thanks a lot for watching the videos!
Hi Phillip I’m so glad I found your channel. Not only are they concise and informative but you are from the UK. Not that there is anything wrong with our wonderful world wide friends but sometimes their recommendations are not available here. Particularly USA, I find myself getting excited about something to find it’s nowhere to be found . Though to be fair it usually is. I do wonder though would their fantastic quality whatever it may be, would be the same quality here. Esp. Pod companies. Can you please make a video on which POD co. you have found to be exceptional here and would recommend. There are so many. Thank you so much.
You are such a good teacher! I've watched a few of your videos (and more to come) and always leave with a bit more understanding. Thank you so much. New sub. (btw, the background music competes with your very nice voice. It's kinda annoying). I'm looking forward to learning more from your channel!
Detailed straight to the point guide and a well structured description allowing easy access to all links mentioned. Appreciate your guidance, I have downloaded the texture pack. - Many thanks (+1 subscriber)
video of grade value!!! at the end you say to treat customers well for returns: so sale and returns are not automatic as i had understood from other youtuber and so in this business i have to constantly monitor orders to avoid problems? thanks Philip :)
So for most print on demand platforms it is true that you don't have to do customer service or order management. However on Etsy you are always responsible for that😉
Philip, you are an absolutely amazing person! I spend a lot of time looking for explanations of how I can implement this idea Midjourney+Printify+Etsy. Thank you so much. One small question, do you have a video where I can see how we can add a custom mockup? Should I add them on Printify?
Hi there I'm glad to hear I was able to help you with that thank you! You can add mockups to the Etsy listing afterwards. I don't have a video showing exactly that, but I have quite a few which show how to create better mockups👍
Do you mind if I ask how your journey has gone so far? I'm doing my research into alternative income streams, and I'd love to know any hurdles or accomplishments you've experienced getting into something like this. Thanks for reading!
Great vid. Got interested to try it out as well :). Question 1: Do you have 1 shop or do you devide your shops with focus on certain products? Question 2: do you also connect any social media to your (new) products or shops? For more traffic or for any other reason? Thanks for the tips!
Thanks for the video. Just starting with Print-on-Demand. Very useful content. Subscribed. I found your video through RU-vid's recomendation. I work out of a MakerSpace and will share your channel with others interested there also. Thanks again. Keep posting. : )

Hey Philip, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I loved your videos. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and also make highly engaging shorts for you?
Phil, i just want to say WOW. I am starting my business in POD from Mexico and I have had my doubts about starting it because I have seen trashcontent on RU-vid but I came across yours and it has been a mind changer. I still have some with the tools and lots to learn. Question, what are your thoughts on printful??? Keep it up mate
Hey Philip, First time watching your channel and I am intrigued! Great content. Only one question - Do you have a full step by step tutorial on Midjourney? Thanks in advance.
Hi Nitzan & Thank you! I have a few step by step tutorials for sticker: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zp9CgbfUb-w.html and t-shirt design: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q1MEdTUT2w8.html for example ;)
GREAT VIDEO!! One of the best I've seen. Question: Once I publish from Printify to Etsy and my product is listed, do I get charged another $.20 if I make a change to the item on Printify and re-publish. Also, if I make a change to my listing on Etsy, like changing a Tag, and then republish, do I get charged another $.20?
Hmm need to rewatch that delivery section......its a bit confusing. But i do love the video ive watched a few other youtubers and they all just say.....easy just do this and that and click and your good to go...... so thx for this realistic video
Hi! Great video! Just one question: what happens when a customer orders few shirts in one order? Print provider will send them together or one by one and charge few times for delivery? Thanks
Great video. Can you clarify what happens after receiving an order? Does the fulfillment happen automatically by Printify/swiftPOD or must the order be entered manually in Printify?
This video is Amazing! I was wondering, do you often need to clean up imperfections from the Midjourney artworks? If yes, what's your process? For more detail and complicated artworks, could they still work well printed on a t-shirt? Thank you in advance!
And please give an example Of what do you fix with the mask function? To visualize it. Bc I have no idea. 😅 . I’ve used photoshop but just for stupid stuff
So how does the TM hunt work, lets say you put in chicken run and there is registration on the word run? Thanks for great video! Regarding being nice and helpful to the customer....will the printing company exchange the size for the customer or will we have to pay for another printing?
Great videol. would love to know the star wars posters in the background. where they creaetd in MIDJOURNEY, if so what was the style, prompt to get it like that. looks cool
Great video, been thinking of jumping into this myself for quite sometime. Really helpful info here. Can see you are in the UK, how do you deal with returns when selling in the US? Do you have a video covering this? Thanks again.
Quick tip: on my Mac I can just drag the upscaled image from Midjourney straight into a window/folder in my Finder. No need to go to website first. Great video again! ❤
Thanks for this video! The trademark stuff i never even considered. Just uploaded a design today and after now checking it on TMhunt, its been registered 😔. Do you suggest i redesign and reupload?
Hi Philip, im a new subscriber, thanks a lot for sharing this info, ive actually implemented this, im on a stage where i created etsy shop through your given link for 40 free listings and also created printify shop through your link, my question is: on etsy when do we set our payment methods to get paid? im a step before that part as seen on etsy shop setup process, ive paused it there, is it that when we connect our store - the option to get paid through our preferred methods will be shown or for example should i upload any product first on etsy so that i can access the next step which is "how will you get paid' which is after "stock your shop" part on etsy step wise setup of store, or do i upload product through printify and still the "getting paid" option will be accessible? if yes how/what is the process like ? im asking this coz currently if i go to setting tab on my etsy, i dont see any option to setup my payment preference other than the option given at the store setup which we do only on etsy after uploading a product.
Wow! You have impressed me once more with your great extend knowledge about Print-on-Demand websites and about selling Online! You are a Super great Professor on these subjects! Although you are not a graphic designer...(Are you a designer, by the way? you 've never told us your real profession...) 😊 You are doing an Excellent Job by the way! I love your videos! My question is On the product description how are we going to find all these technical information details about fabrics, materials etc? For us who have English as a 2nd language these terms are difficult to use or understand. Now as a total beginner I am on these sites, in the case when my products on Etsy are only "digital downloads" and not physical products, or printing partners involved, how are we filling out our store listings? Do you have any video of yours to recomend to me to watch it please? and for the International shippings what shall we do? I am located in Cyprus, far away from the USA, so I would like to watch a video for international etsy sellers as well. Thank you very much! Keep up your Excellent work! 😘
Hello I am originally a Graphic Designer. The fabrics & materials are all found on Printify and already filled in when you upload a product. Digital downloads is a whole nother topic, I will make content about that in future. If you are from Cyprus you can still sell in the USA. I live in the UK as well
@@PhilipAnders Aw! Glad to hear that you are a European too! 😉👍Thank you for the reply. I haven't noticed your reply before. Lovely. Thank you! I Love and enjoy your videos! ❤
A question that confuses me, I didn't find the answer..if I designed a shop in Shopify and linked it with printfull, can I work in Copy Right without problems?
If only Etsy wasn't deliberately hiding some seller's listings that Etsy is wrongfully charging listing fees to SHOW. I wouldn't be surprised if Etsy got hit with a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit someday for it
Hey there! Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for the awesome video on Printify and Etsy. Your tutorial was really helpful. By the way, have you ever thought about doing a video on the png and svg digital files generated by AI? They're super popular on Etsy these days and it would be cool to hear your thoughts on it. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more of your videos!
Thank you very much for the comment and your suggestion! I didn't know Ai could generate SVG files yet. But I do know of a good way to sell digital downloads on Etsy. Made a video a long time ago about it, but could make a new one in future
Hey Philip, really loving your content. Can I ask you how to get The Bold Fond and the Milkshake Photoshop letteringstyle? Can't find either of those in my Photoshop 2020. Thank you very much :)
Whenever you are looking for a font which isn't installed on your device you will be able to find it on google. For example type in "the bold font", download and install😉 www.dafont.com/the-bold-font.font fontsfree.net/milkshake-font-download.html
What’s better to start with…a Black or White background? Does it just depend on if you use your design on a dark or light T-shirt? Or doesn’t it really matter because the background will be transparent anyway?
Hi Philip, your content is really great ! we have put a lot of the knowledge you kindly share to good use & have signed up to some the tools you recommend through your affiliate links, Flying Uploads will be our next. This video here is the best one on RU-vid for a print on demand workflow we have seen. Thanks so much for all your valuable help, Very best wishes from us here 🌟 👍 🧡
Hi, Really superb tutorial packed with very useful info. Just a quick question: you gave a tool for keywords to write descriptions. This you mentioned is for Etsy, would it apply to Merch by Amazon too? Or could you recommend a similar tool for Merch to write descriptions? I am good in designing but always struggle to write title/descriptions. Ah sorry one other question: I have about 12.000 designs on Amazon, would it be ok to use the same designs on Etsy too? Many thanks again for a great tutorial and just in time as I am planning to start on Etsy. Best regards
Thank you glad it was helpful! You can use the keyword suggestions for amazon as well yes. I do have a seperate tutorial showing how I write my amazon listings and find keywords btw. And yes you can sell the same designs on Etsy as well😉
I have watched most of your videos, you give me a lot of new knowledge, this is the part I am very interested in. If I don't have an etsy account, can I sell my designs on Printify? Thanks!
Thank you for watching the videos! Printify does not have a marketplace, so you can't sell your designs on Printify itself. However they also connect with other Platforms besides Etsy such as: Shopify, Walmart, Ebay & more
To offer the best prices by shipping costs it would be best if I have a print partner for the US and another one for Europe right? But so I have to create listings for each continent if I wanna do it manually without the order rerouting option? Hmm and the customer just see the relevant listings but so I have double listings or am i wrong.
Hi, My products are showing live on my merch account, but when I open the links it is showing unavailable for all the locations and sizes. How I can resolve this issue. Why it is showing like this.
I am struggling a bit with the connection to SwiftPod. How is that connected to Prinitfy? How do I know who my printing partner is? Does this have to do with the kind of shirt I selected?
I want to share my experience with you, When I uploaded a set of stickers for the first time, which created in AI software, they suspended my account, and after 14 days of my claim, answered we aren’t able to reinstate your account and won’t explain why.
I am confused. You said no to the "Papa Bear" niche because it had 6K results saying it was too many, but you went for the "Animal Dad" niche because it had 44K? Did you make a mistake, or am I not understanding correctly?
I can see how that was a bit confusing sorry. I went for the "chicken daddy" niche with ~1,7k results. The "animal dad" search term was just a way to niche down from "dad". The "papa bear" design inspired me to look for animal related dad shirts instead of just dad shirts
So how does the connection to Printify work? Like how do they know a sale happened, the details, etc so they can produce it? I didn't see anything in the listing details that would create that connection. Do you have to make the listing through Printify to get that connection? If so how much can you change before publishing without breaking that connection? For example I'd rather use my own mockups.
If your Printify is connected to your Etsy store it records all orders. And if you publish products to that shop through printify and they sell, the orders will be imported automatically. You can change pretty much all the listing details without any problems. Besides the SKUs I think
@@PhilipAnders Ahh it adds SKUs automatically? That makes sense then! Thank you, I was very curious about how that worked. sometimes things are TOO transparent haha
yes photopea and inkscape are alternatives to photoshop and illustrator you can try out. I am not very familiar with them so can't say if they will be able to replicate the same process 100%
Hi Sir; I designed more than 200 art images with AI, Live in UK and I decided to start print on demand business, If possible introduce economy printer please. Thank you for your helpful tutorials.
Hello I live in the UK as well! I go over getting started with Printify as a print provider in this video, they will help you connect with hundreds of print firms accross the globe including the UK ;)
