LifeOfArjen I don’t have that app. However, if you have an apartment access card, it should be RFID. That’s what most apartments are doing.

Probably you bought tags with 13.56 mhz and this device work with 125 khz tags

The key dongles are 125kh while cards use a different frequency. If you can to clone cards you have to get a different reader and write

Different RFID frequencies that are not supported by this device. He can read and write tags. Cards are different frequencies, as long as you write the 125khz frequency on a card, it will work aka tag to card. Cards are higher frequency so this device cannot read them nor copy them.

HID use a different algorithm, their ID is dynamic.

Sometimes that happens. The cards/fobs could also be a different frequency.

you can see through the tag with a flashlight from behind, if the shadow of the antenna is a circle then the tag is probably 125Khz and if the shadow of the antenna is square then it is 13.5Mhz

I think they are loud for a reason. Stuff like this can be used for less legar purposes. But I guess someone who has an idea to use them can also figure out how to make it silent.

No, you can copy em4100 and em4305 and write it on em4305, em4100 isn't a Rewritable tag

@@nnnn-lp8ju because you can pair the access controller with em4100, but that's a longer story. Basically the access controller learns the code that is printed on em4100 (for example: 12345678) and when it reads it allows access. The duplicator reads the code on em4100 (12345678) and writes it on a rewritable tag em4305 and it is no longer necessary to intervene on the access controller to pair new tags.

I believe I class are high frequency card readers and multi classes do low and high. These clones thing only does low frequency for the looks of it. It won't detect tour 13.56mhz since it can only decrecer kHz.... I think , I need to look at that reader/write gun specs

freedom deary - Absolutely not. I bought the exact one about a year and a half ago and it wouldn’t work to copy the fob to get into my building or my sister’s gate. I didn’t want to pay the hefty price that my building charges for replacements. It literally feels like a tiny toy and it doesn’t work at all. I asked for a refund the the seller got angry with me for “hassling him while he was trying to enjoy his vacation and he was stressed out.” He told me he would contact me to refund my money when he got back and asked that I not leave a negative review. What he was really waiting for was for the rating time to run out so I couldn’t complain or leave a bad rating if I wanted to. It was so cheap that I just laugh at it now because he really successfully pulled one over on me lol I always thought I was above letting something like that happen to me but he played on my emotions and made me feel bad for him haha😂
