I was like that especially when my kids were young. so a few years ago I got rid of all the furniture in the bedrooms new floors painted and new furniture with a lot less storage enough for clothes. few years later did same downstairs I have very little storage in my living room no more shelfs so no more keeping things. then I tackle the sheads I had 3 knock down one. I actually feel great and the house nearly always looks clean. then February gone I cleaned out nearly everything in my wardrobe bought new clothes but now really think about what I'm buying, how often I'll wear it and so on. my youngest is 18 now and 5 adults living in the house, I finally feel my house is mine the way I want it. ok I'd love a new kitchen... think the less storage and shelfs the less shit. the wardrobe room looks fab love it.

Juliette I am so impressed with you are just brilliant and you make DIY look so easy. The room looks magnificent all that hard work you and Matt did certainly paid off. It looks like it has been done by professionals, so well done ,oh and I love the flooring too. Looking forward to seeing it filled up, and I loved how hard your little helper worked to help mummy, he is so sweet.

I relate when I got my new bed the amount of stuff that came out the old one was ridiculous hardly any fitted under the new one so I had a massive ebay sell of anything I wouldn't miss or use and my wardrobe is an old Argos one but had boring grey plastic handles last week from Amazon I got some lovely crystal rose ones and they have made it look amazing! 🙌💖👏

Hi Juliette just an idea for the DVDs I got loads of paper sleeves of Amazon and decanted all the dvd discs in to them and just got stored all boxes in loft . Omg the space it saves its bloody brilliant , they all fit in a little box , try it . Love space saving .x

Hi Juliette congratulations you did a fabulous job you really are amazing you’re actually superwoman the floor is fabulous looks so much like parquet you should do the rest of the rooms in it so much brighter and easier to clean I had all my flat done in wood as the carpet was just making my allergies flare up constantly but now very rarely have a flare up you work incredibly hard no way I would do it just go on holiday and not coming back until it’s all finished honestly you’re incredible and beautiful stay safe stay beautiful ❤️

I Know Karen honestly you should see the aftermath on the boys games room right now. But that’s next on the list 🙈😂. I know it can be so hard parting with things but I always seem to throw something away and then need it the next week even if I haven’t used it for years which is typical 🙈😂. Thank you so much Debbie. Are you referring to the lights Debbie? They aren’t shades at the moment they are actually light fittings that are the same throughout the house so we won’t be changing those BUT we are going to be fitting lights into the actual wardrobes very soon 🤞🏼 xxx

Wow what a fabulous room, it looks amazing!! Just a couple of questions if that’s ok, where was the flooring from (it’s gorgeous) also when you did the panels were they floor to ceiling in between the drawers or were they cut to sit on top of the drawers ?? Thanks

The flooring is from a local company to me called adams carpets but u am trying to get a code or something as a lot of people are asking. And the boards are floor to ceiling furniture boards from b and q (2500cm x 400cm x 16mm) I hope that helps and if course it’s ok to ask 😊❤️ xxx

Thank you so much Chris. Yes they are re comfortable, the bed doesn’t make much difference as I think it’s all down to your mattress. Sometimes if you’d not shut properly it may clunk when you first sit in it but they fit so much in. Unfortunately mine just always became a dumping ground 🙈 xxx
