I’ve always liked the Bicentennial coins. I had a small collection of them when I was a kid. They where spent on ice cream. Sure wish I had kept them. At least, the ice cream was good. 😀

I took a screenshot of the 1943 nickel and it looks like there’s a face in the loop of the 9. Probably just dirt but it has the appearance of a face. Thanks for your informative videos! I know I appreciate you very much. ☮️

I have a 1970 570 1970 a 1970 aluminum zinc penny I got a buffalo head messing and legs and it's got. Crack running through it on a on a Jefferson nickel I got big dollar with the three claws pointing out to each way and they're separated they're not altogether it's a 1921 silver dollar

Hey Shaun, thanks for your dedication and persistence to help keep coin collecting fun!!! I have a question for you or your fellow coinaholics, Why in the heck is the Cherrypickers Guide so expensive and hard to find? Just my opinion but if this book was readily available at a reasonble price, I think a lot more collectors would be more active in searching for varieties!

The C Pickers guide I'm sure you're referring to is the best well known publication from Whitman and authored by Fivas and Stanton...Yes, a premium will be paid for their works but you can obtain them electronically via Amazon books etc at a very very affordable amount. There are other publications pertaining to errors and varieties that are also very very affordable. You'll pay more for the Fivas/Stanton version simply because it's the very most comprehensive and thorough media available. These fellas put a shit ton of research, and devotion ( not development as in tech ) into their works and the first to make these varieties hold real water and many of the publications to follow would be simply regurgitating what the Fivas/Stanton publication has already made truth. That's my personal take on it, I'm sure Shaun would agree somewhat anyhow. Peace 🕊️🕉️🙏

I have several coins like that 67 quarter with half of it looking like a grease stain. My Cent piece is rainbowed in that area and bronze below it. Like a beautiful sunset behind Lincoln.

Bro , I foud a 1967 Washington, with a retained clip that has transfer capitol B over E in liberty and backwards , with an I over the R of quarter on reverse , my local coin shop says it’s dammage prolly hit by hammer ! Transfer is clean to naked eye.

Great video! My understanding is that Lincoln Pennys missing the copper plating began in 1983 and after…. However, I ve had a 1979 with no copper. Does anyone have any info on this?

I have two questions... 1. When looking for chips on a dime, I am seeing a lot of deep cuts and trails of like 3 or more almost tear drop lines of them is that what I should be looking for? 2 pennies there is so much to see and that one I don't get what I am seeing or what I should be. So I have a 1903 gold 2 1/2 dollar coin with a blob streak through the reverse have not found an answer to it no one can tell me much more than maybe it was pulled from melt at the last second. But the coin itself is at least a 66 or better if someone has any input I would appreciate it.

Back in the late mid 90s a friend asked me to save 1995 pennies for him to look at. I think it was a double struck error on them he was looking for. I had a few dollars worth of them and I put them in an empty vitamin C bottle that wasn't rinsed. Unfortunately my friend passed away before we had a chance to get together to look at the pennies. Just a couple years ago I found the bottle and opened it up. Every penny was completely stripped of the copper plate but the zinc was shiny and undamaged. I ended up rolling them and depositing them with a bunch of other rolled coins into my bank account. Somewhere out there are the 5 + rolls of those shiny zinc 1995 pennies.

I would like to thank you Shawn, for you wonderful explanation of the error on the Nickel. I love the great detail into errors you give. As I'm new I get confused as to exactly what I'm looking at. Thank you. You are the greatest. On the Anna May Wong I have found 2 great errors this week. One she has no eyes, the other has an A stamped below her lip and what could be the Y on her cheek.
