Hey Nicole. Your video really helped in making a simple yet effective tracker. I was looking to add date selection, rather than typing in and found out that is possible. Hence adding below for the benefit of others. Select the particular column and do the below operation. Data menu > Data validation -> Choose ‘Date’ and ‘is valid date’ and you are set to go :)
Some quick tips for spreadsheet: 1) If you hate seeing Div/0!(15:10) since the formula divides with a zero, you can input this [=if(H16="","",J16/H16-1)]; it shall remove the error value and into a blank cell. 2) During 19:20, you can dropdown or drag down(the thingy with a crosshair) "Fund 1" or cell C7 to create succeeding funds or Fund 2, Fund 3, etc. You can do this with any text that involves "text + 1,2,3"(ex. Fund 1, Account#1) I'm still learning more spreadsheet so yeah. I hope this help!
Finally updated my spreadsheet today! Had the format you gave us few months ago. Using it made me feel like I’m a pro at managing my finances already 😂 (although the sheet just slapped me with the fact that most of my expenses go to unnecessary midnight snacks 🥲) thank you, Nicole! And congratulations for reaching 100k subs! All my love to you and bread fam! 🍞💓
I am 29, and I just started watching your videos. Youre such a blessing! I kinda regret and hoped that I started the things you do when I was your age. Oh well, everyone has their on starting points and pace on the road to success.
Why do I find you sooo inspiring? I found one of your videos while browsing for investment ideas and boom! just like that I'm hooked. (SPREADSHEET EVERYTHING!!) I am near 30 now and I just made my first financial spreadsheet. I watched most of your videos and I found the 1000 subs vid and deeym, that IMAGINATION thing, its not cringe at all. It was inspiring! Brilliant! And looking at where you are now? (103k subs) I can't wait to see you make your first MIL! Thanks for pushing me take action!
I stumbled upon your videos lately. Kala ko organized na yung trackers ko, dami ko palang dapat iimprove. Naalala ko tuloy yung mga investments kong inaalikabok na. Thank you sa video contents like this.
I believe it's important to learn the basics talaga so that you guys know how to make adjustments! Understood na my spreadsheet layout might not work for everyone, kaya better to teach people how to use google sheets 😉❤🍞
Super thanks po! I just finished making my personal cash flow tracker, and now that I kind of know how to use google sheet, I'm going to try applying it to where I work. Haha, thank you so much!!
Hello Nicole! I just wanted to say thanks for this easy budget that gives me a layout for bank accounts and credit cards. I spent hours and weeks building different budgets here on RU-vid, but just to realize that it wasn't working for me. By then, I'm getting really aggravated and was about to give up and try sometime later. I just happened to come across your video and decided I would give it a try. To my surprise, it was what I had been looking for. I have been using it for about a month and a half now and really loving it. I had not been very familiar with google sheets/excel, so it took me sometime to get it together because you move and talk pretty fast, lol! But thank you so much for sharing!
Isa ako sa mga subscribers mo ate since last year! Keep up po. I was able to be organized and was able to save money and track my expenses thru the help of your vidssss
Thank you bringer of breads and the alarm clock of the financially asleep! will apply this next quarter as I have already done your previous vid's spreadsheet :> hoping to add mp2 to my portfolio in the near future
I just have to say. I like how you show example from the simplest form possible. I have tried to watch a lot of RU-vid videos to make an easy and simple cash flow tracker. I will start to watch all you videos moving forward.
Registered to SeedIn, created 2 MP2 savings, and made my own finance spreadsheet! 😂 Naka-graduate na ako sa panonood nang panonood lang ng videos mo since last year! Hahahahaha! Finally took action!!!! Salamat sa walang sawang paalala, narindi na ako sa reminder mo. 😂
It's actually because of your channel why I learn these kinds of stuffs, like way before I don't even know how to use a spreadsheet and even know what is financial literacy. So keep up the good work, you're doing a really good job.
Thank you for this, I used to not really keep track on my money but now I copied your tracker and I'm really inspired to start investing. I thought It might be "hassle" because you record every cent you gain or spend and takes my time but I didn't know it's fun and really helps with my self discipline and learn more about my behavior on how I spend my money. Super thumbs up for this, If only I can like the video for more than 1 time I'll do it. Looking forward for your future videos.
Hi Nicole, I absolutely love your videos! Quick helpful tip: for the last price cells, you can use the GOOGLEFINANCE function so that the price is constantly updated for you!!
Thank you for this!! Super effective nito at mas madali at mas maganda compare sa mga natry kong applications dati! Try nyo na yung google sheet guys! Pwede din maglagay ng calendar sa data validation para double click nalang then select date. HOPING FOR MORE VIDEOS ABOUT PERSONAL FINANCE, THANK YOUU! -curently a 2nd year student
Thank you nicole. I usually do not keep track with my finances and then ask myself kung saan napunta ang pera ko. haha. But I was really inspired with your videos and so I tried doing this. It makes me feel more "responsible" HAHA. It's really helpful.
one of my fave vloggers! Browsing your video is like reading a good book! I have benefited a lot! Thank you for your hard work!🥰 Your channel is great. I'll never get used to saying it is worthy of a million likes! Fully watched! 🎯💝
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! sooo much for this track.. i might be late on this but this will help me track my finances (including debt) more power to you and your channel
Yeyyy thank you for this nicole! Big help tong spreadsheet format/template. I use a mobile app to monitor my expenses kaso minsan nalilito ako hahahaha this one is easier to understand and kita agad lahat. Love it! PS. Yung nagdislike ng video ni nicole di marunong magexcel. Charot hahahaha
Thanks for this Nicole! I'm trying to be a more financially responsible adult and seeing where my money goes is a huge wake up call. I'm also applying for a cc and this seems like a good way for me to keep my eye on how much I'm spending and not just swiping left and right without thinking about the consequences.
Thank you so much for this tutorial video♥️😊 been 1 month on tracking my expenses using this and it made me so mindful to where I'm putting my money hahaha! At nakakaadik mag-encode sa sheets everytime may itatransfer or gagastusin ako😂
Nicole, this video is very helpful. I really hate numbers but with this, it makes my life easier. HAHA! I started tracking my expenses/savings/investments this year. Keep inspiring people!! 😄😄
Love this video, thank you so much for this. Do you have any recommendations of what to do if you're dealing with different currencies? (Investment accounts abroad etc.)
Thank you, Nicole! I am using this to track my finances. 😊 I prefer using this than using apps. I put it in my G. Drive so I can update it even in my phone.
Hi Nicole, really glad that you are sharing how you setup your trackers! I love it a lot and I'm using your format. I am using a google sheet function to automate the 'Last Price' column. Function name: GOOGLEFINANCE( ) It automatically gets the price of the stock, specifically for US stock from Google Finance. This removes the need to key In the current values manually in the 'Last Price' columns.
Hi this expense tracker has been very helpful for me. I hope you make a guide on how to generate charts na data from this sheet yung data ng charts. Para lang makita ko overview ng expenses ko per month, tapos what takes up most of my expenses food ba or bills ganun hehe thank you!
You're my first favorite vlogger Nicole! Congratulations on your 100k subs!🍞🌟 Thank you for teaching and inspiring both gen Zs and millennials about financial literacy and self-development💪
Grabe! thank you Nicole Alba for sharing your knowledge. Ang dami ko natutunan sayo pagdating sa finance, I can't wait to build my EF and finally invest. I have never been this inspired mag-save at mag-aral pa. Thank you!
