To be fair, she didn't know that he was her childhood friend. Even so, she should never treat anyone like that. She made all the wrong moves ever since she and Gabriel were separated as a kid. She tried hard to climb the social ladder and became ruthless. Because of that ruthlessness, she got together with Jorge and had a toxic friend. Her biggest mistake she did not keep the promised she made with Gabriel when they were kids.

I mostly agree, but he kept secrets too. So observant he could see her trauma, but would never cure her of it with the truth, but when saying it, only would traumatize her more. He used romance to win her, but never the truth. He too doesn't deserve everything he got, good or bad.

@@furyberserk I think the answer to your statement is here: 32:39. Even if he told her that he is Gab Mo from childhood, she would never accept him unless he also tells her that he is rich now. But if he told her, does she truly love him because he was Gab Mo or because his money/status? She also said in the Epilogue that she would cut ties with anyone who mentioned her past. That's why he tried his best to win her heart, but she was no longer the same kindhearted girl that he knew back then. Also, he was the only one searching for her because of that promise but she didn't.

She only became interested when she learned he was a rich heir to his family fortune, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with her past, so even if he had told her he was her poor friend from her childhood ( but didnt mention he was also now very rich) she still wouldnt have been interested!.

The saddest part is she cant move on until her 50 despite gabriel want them walk on their own path and didnt even resent her, but she torment herself out of guilt instead make amend with herself first

She hardened her heart and became a cold hearted bia due to losing what she cherished most which prob only made her appreciate him even more so than she already had when he first left her and she most likely got ruthlessly bullied alone... the only person that could have totally wiped the memory of the ex who kept popping in completely and made her a better person almost instantly. On the other hand the dude was a total dbag for never telling her who he was from the very start and no matter what anyone says that was wrong and makes him a piece of garbage cause there is no way what so ever he didn't realize she was her current self due to him and her separating a freaking brain dead toddler could have noticed that. He is trash for hiding it and only revealing it when it served the purpose to decimate her when the truth is it prob would have almost instantly changed her to a better person 4 life.

​​@goutam149 100% correct. Things might have been different if Sofia had some positive influence growing up... unfortunately she is Jaded and it negatively affected her relationship with Gabriel. All those terrible things she did is her real self.

There needs to be a story where he says it was him from the get go, or the girl at least think, “I know you from somewhere?” Like come on, Sofia was bad sure but I would want to know what would happen if she knew. I wonder what dynamic relationship they would have had.
