This was absolutely stunning! I also agree with what you say about numbers. For the last 3 years, I have been racing through books barely remembering them so I can get higher counts. Sometimes I don't remember what I read by the time I get to the next book. I am going to try to adopt your philosophy, slow down, and read for enjoyment. Ps. We have similar reading tastes!
I know exactly what you mean. Lol. I can’t tell you how many times I read a book that someone asked, how was it? And I would sit there and think “I don’t remember much of the book”. I want to change that this year. 😀
Are the pages after December empty, and a new journal is started? I’d love to see an overall collection video of your journal collection. Mine are so fat and don’t fit anywhere. It makes sense to not complete them entirely.
Yes, the journal has no other entries after December. It’s actually my first reading journal, so when I started a new one, I will probably do a grid to determine what my favorite book of the year will be. I knew I couldn’t fit 2 years in one journal which is why I started a new one.
