Despite the fact that being a Canadian means I'm legally required to hate the French, this guy grew on me big time, especially upon rewatch. I might actually pick up this figure if he's this solid. And quiet.

this figure overall feels like a step above loads of other SS figures, especially articulation wise transformation isn’t a pain and i love how he looks in comparison to the original deluxe kinda makes me like movie hot rod himself a little more. just a little. a very small amount.

yeah those panels on the heels are a pain and the arms on mine where not installed properly so when i first moved them they popped off too lol good figure over all. great review!

I love the articulation. Wrist swivel! There really should be standards with SS and not just "movie accurate ____."

I got him last week and honestly he was a dissapointment but my is mainly come from bad experience transforming him! I think my was a defeat of sort? Basically the head was super stiff to turn and when I did "force" it, hear a snap and it rotate as normal (I think the peg was fuse to the head). Even when it did rotate normally, I couldn't tilt his head down need in the transformation process and doing it force the head to pop off! Turns out the head was place too forward on the peg but it needed to reside in the back. After forcing it to the right area and keep it there, it tilt down as intended! Also yeah those heel bits are super annoying to come off! A shame as I was looking forward to get him when I first saw him at the Hasbro Pulse video1
