A lesser known fact, the founding fathers of jamaican music were also orphans from Cuba, raised at alpha academy for boys in Kingston jamaica. The children were taught music and played in the school orchestra for important people visiting the island. People often forget Cubas classical music history that continues even today. Plus, the indigenous music of both islands made for a stellar musical evening. Bravo maestros!

I was there!! I remember a wild night. I was at the back of the arena, the standing area, but had managed to snag a seat for an oldie. By the end, even the old knackers like me were on our feet moving to the music. Even noticed an Albert Hall steward shaking her booty.
Cuba and Jamaica have been sister countries for years , wayyyyy before this concert , in the past there government system would connect and share in treaty. It’s great that there finally showing love .
