I can recommend 2 x BST-1 in a front and rear config in SimHub for an extrusion rig, one BST-1 under the pedal plate, and one BST-1 under the seat, mounted directly under it with 3M VFB (super strong) tape, or in another guide on RU-vid (LDFR Sim Racing) using a 400x200 VESA plate (no drilling required) mounted under the two aluminum extrusion pieces that the seat rails attach to, if you have an extrusion rig. You xan use a 50 watts x 2 amp, which they make amp + dac (sound card) for pretty cheap (all of that would cost about $160 USD shipped), It works really well and powerful! The two TT25-8 pucks under the pedal like this video shows would work good too, but without having a good transducer in the rear mounted under or directly to the seat you would lose out a lot. I also saw that Dayton recently released a much higher wattage BST-300EX (300 watts, 4 ohms) model, for $89.99 USD which is probably overkill and may not have enough subtle effects. Note: I'm aware that in some countries like SA that it would be hard to obtain some of these parts, which is too bad. Edit: I watched the installation portion of the video again, this time with audio enabled (hehe baby was sleeping) and I just realized you did the exact same method but twice, for the metal plate and 2 x TT25-8's each front and rear so good on you! The two up front and two under the seat method should work quite well for 4 x TT25-8's!

Thanks for watching and your awesome recommendation. Yes...the BST-1 is a beast. We don't get them in South Africa which is a pity. I got lucky with these bass shakers as my sister bought them from me from Australia. I do have another two of these mounted under the seat as well. I can feel the vibrations all the way up the back of the seat. I just adjust the volume on the amps when I will the effects are too much. I don't know how you ever drive without this again once you have felt how awesome it is.

@@virtualmotorheadsI just watched the first part of the video again, this time with audio enabled (hehe baby was sleeping), and I see how you did the same metal plate mount method twice, along with 2 x amps, sorry I was thinking it was just the front pedal plate with 2 x TT25-8's was all you had installed! Yea this setup should work quite well. The TT25-8's are quite nimble, and can be better at certain more subtle effects (better than the higher output transducers can do for some things) and can produce good output in pairs like you used here up front and in rear. I bought 6 x TT25-8's a couple years ago for cheap (I think they were $13 USD each, used like new, in the USA) and was using 4 of them in the corners, and 2 of them taped to the back of my rig seat, on my Sim Labs GT1-Evo 2020 rig, before installing under the pedal plate (front) and directly under my rig seat (rear) with two BST-1's recently actually, using that other RU-vid tutorial (VESA plate mounting in rear) method I had mentioned, to avoid using 3M VHB tape like I had been using before. I feel that the way you went about finding the optimal settings for AMS2 was the right way to do it, one effect at a time. You know that you can export your custom channel settings as one exported file, and your effects profile as another exported file, and attach the download links (GDrive) to the video description, which could save others using your parts and mounting method without spending a lot of time with the settings, at least initially (or for those that don't have the time to do it), which would provide a good base profile for them to utilize. I also wouldn't mind downloading and trying the exported settings. You are right there is no way one could go back to non-transducer! If you do try racing without it you feel like you are losing a lot of immersion, like it is 50% less fun even. To me it is akin to trying to race without a force feedback wheel, almost.

@@jonferraez Thanks for the recommendation to export my settings. I am definitely going to do that this evening and add it to the description. 💪🏻

Great video. I got a couple of Dayton BST-1 shakers. Stuck them to the bottom of my seat and pedal plate with 3M VHB tape. No drilling required. I have one Fosi Audio TDA7498E amp. I run them at pretty low settings and they work great without shaking the floor too much (with washing machine isolating feet under my rig).

Thanks for watching man. Yes those BST-1 bass shakers are awesome and really strong. 50watts I believe? We don't get any of these bass shakers in South Africa. I had to ask someone from Australia to bring it with them when they came to visit. Totally worth it.

I dont know if anyone else has this issue but when I turn on the car in ACC my headphones sound like they are about to explode. It's like I can hear the bass from the bass shakers. On the main menu they sound just fine. Only when the car is on and driving. I have the sound card for the shakers, and it all works well as it should. Wired headphones to the pc . Any ideas?

Hmmm...interesting issue you are having. First time I have heard of something like this. Have you tried any other games yet? Process of elimination works so well. Load up AMS2 or Assetto Corsa. If the problem still persists, then you know the problem is with Simhub itself...and then it should be a configuration issue. Check the Sound Output tab under the ShakeIt Bass Shakers screen. See if your headphones are not accidently also selected as a sound output source. Let me know if you come right. 👍
