For Fall, you should give GRE before October. Anything after that is late. You can still take the test. But you might miss some good universities. For Spring, finish giving GRE by March at earliest. Having a good time at hand will help you look for scholarships and other funding. You can also prepare for on campus and other stuff.

Thats a good question :) I would suggest to check some of the higher study scholarships in India like Tata Endowment fund, Mahindra Scholarship etc. Also, look after universities which give scholarships , like RIT :) Also check for banks which are giving you loans based on upfront interest , that can get you financed with min money :)

Considering the situation that you should apply before nov ends to get the best uni, I would recommend giving the GRE in either last week of sept or first week of october. I would recommend to track your study daily, and give as many practice tests as you can , (atleast 5+ ) and you will be good. Another thing is , your TOEFL. since you will moslty be giving TOEFL too , plan your GRE accordingly. I hope this helps you. Hamida Akter Baby Yes , it is possible . I have friend who gave GRE in 8 days preparation , and got 320+ . So it's possible. But heres what I would recommend - 1. Create a time schedule according to two months . This plan should cover learning and practice tests ( min 7 ) before you appear for the exam 2. Work the plan :) Use right tools for right things and you will be good 3. Try to score 165+ in math 4. Prepare the top 500 GRE most frequent words so that you can be efficient :) 5. I am actually going through your GRE words videos now! They are brilliant as it makes memorizing words a hell lot of easier. Keep making them! I have taken some practice tests at home and timed myself. I scored around 157-159 on the Quant and around 152-154 on the Verbal part but I wanna improve even more!
