I get what you're saying, but as music evolved over the centuries, there are so many genres wrapped into every genre. We would literally have to have worship with voice only. We have to be careful not to be so legalistic that we are unable to reach anybody outside of people that only "do church" like us, Or how we have defined church. I feel your point tho.

@@elsteff411 Hello there. I am grateful that you are able to see where I’m coming from. What I said was not legalistic. Holy worship to God can come through many expressions. My original comment specifically referred to trap and drill genres-when it is known, even amongst those who do not serve God, to be rooted in violence and sorcery (illegal substances). And yes, I’m speaking even to the depths of the instrumentation. I’m not sure if you and the other brother or sister who also commented are believers in Christ, but if you are, I’m just surprised to see how hard Christians will cape for the world and worldly things. Just a little background about myself-I am a visual artist who was a professing Christian that also practiced and studied esotericism, New Age and African Spirituality. In an effort to show that being a Christian wasn’t “lame” or “legalistic”, I made works that mixed the Holy with the profane. And instead of drawing others to Christ, I only fell deeper into the darkness of the world. We all have a starting place, but the Lord will take us up higher and higher. He will teach us what is good and bad fruit. I only hope that this generation will be willing to listen and learn.

It is also very untrue that music doesn't have power. It very much so does... all the way down and thru the beats. Don't forget who the master of music was before he was kicked out. Everything is relevant. And Im not being religious or legalistic. This was here before me.
