More costs for ebikes???? Keep voting Democrat and being woke. Go woke go broke! 25% percent!!! That's your greedy government seeing there is lots of money to steal in the ebike industry!!!!
got mine thursday had some issues with the spokes rubbing on the calipers after i installed front wheel , after sending them a video and some diagnosing over the phone , they told me how to adjust it . that took care of the problem . then to my surprise i got a call from David asking if the problem was taken care of and apologizing for the inconvenience . it does have power thats for sure
Hey Tom! That’s the best customer service right there wow! So happy to hear they took care of you like that and now you are up and running on this exhilarating eBike! Keep me posted on how you’re loving it! Thanks for chiming in ❤
LOL fiiiuuuu 😅. I thought you guys did expect me to jump like him 🤣 I was in cherry creek in this video, just found the gnarliest place in there, a good size canyon. More off roading adventures are coming up!
Thank you friend! I’m so happy to hear you’re having a blast on your Five Star! Exhilarating ride it is! So cool you can ride it everyday! I’m lucky about all the places I have to ride! Okayyyyy I will keep em coming ✌️
They are beautiful bikes. There’s no denying that and you can tell by looking at them They’re very well built. I’m saving up for maybe a blue one with dual battery. Hope to get one for myself by Christmas, if not hold out for the January surprise🎉 I really wanna see what Dave is working on. I know it’s going to be awesome because he is an overachiever when it comes to bikes, and he knows faster is better.
So true! David is indeed an overachiever! I bet you he’ll always keep surprising us! If you can, get one now cause prices ail be going up by $300 very soon! 😅
You’ve always been game for all kinds of riding. It’s fun watching your channel evolve. Great tip about tightening of bolts. Even more important I think is to tighten to required torque specs. It would be nice if manufactures would provide their customers with full torque specs for their respective bikes. Maybe pass this on to E-Cells. I had a bad experience with Juiced when I emailed them about torque specs for my RR. Juiced didn’t impress me much with their attitude. Fun video, looks like you had a lot of fun making it. 👍
Hey Bob! Thanks for noticing that- I love showing to you guys all the cool types of riding we can do on our e-bikes! And you just taught me something new! I didn’t know we were supposed to tighten torques to required torque specs! I just play it by ear and I’m thinking most people do too 😎 That’s nit good that Juiced gave you an attitude when you asked for that info, they’ve always been super nice and helpful with me. It would be nice if manufacturers gave us those specs indeed, but then how do you measure that torque? And yes I had a blast making this video! And love that I get to enjoy the results with you ❤
@@electrifiedlatina6871. That’s when you have to get yourself a torque ratchet or two . Just more tools for the old tool..box. I know I’m in the minority that is picky about torquing.
After doing some research think I'm leaning towards something like the Power Goat Version 2. Don't like spoked wheels on any bike because they tend to loosen up over time and really prefer a long padded seat like the Goat has. One freaking weird name for a Ebike though.
Won’t go wrong with either bike, they are just completely different! Main differences are: do you want to pedal and exercise or not?. And it’s true that spoked wheels have their maintenance over mag wheels. The long padded seat on the Goat is lovely I must say haha! At first I thought the name was weird, but now it has grown and I like it! If you decide to get either bike, please please use my affiliate link for a nice discount for you and also to help me in supporting this channel ☺️
Would love to see you so a review/comparison between this and the new wired freedom with dual batteries. Also new wired cruiser with dual suspension. Do you ever get range anxiety on the 5 star?
I would love to do that review video comparison too! So far I haven’t had any range anxiety on the 5 star! IMO it has plenty of range, most people would be okay with it. I have a range test coming up on Friday on the 5 star, would love to see you there!
It's unbelievable how Dave from ecells sent you that bike after you bad mouthed him and his company on that video calling him a copy cat. You should pull that video. It affects your credibility unfortunately. That said I like your energy.
Hey Rick! My bike is stock meaning comes with the cadence sensor! While I prefer torque sensors- this cadence sensor rocks as it’s tuned so well and the PAS is based off of wattage versus speed so feels much better! Having said that, I would love to try a torque sensor on this eBike! ✌️
Well this where some confusion comes in on my part. I want to order a 5 Star but I’m not sure if I should order it with the cadence or torque sensor. Any suggestions? Will a torque sensor equipped bike like the Five Star allow me to over ride the torque assist with throttle only or will I have to use the pedals to reach top speed?
That's why I ordered the 19" frame. I'm 6' and I like a good leg extension. With me on the 17" frame the seat post would have to be extended even farther out than she has it.
@blown9646 You know I didn’t think of it that way, but you make such a valid point! These are huge bikes and I just wanted one that didn’t have as tall of a Standover height and harder to get on and off. Thanks for chiming in ❤
@@electrifiedlatina6871 fwiw I'm pretty sure the standover heights are very close the same to each other from when David posted specs. Which leads me to believe his original design was based on the 19" frame, and 17" was an afterthought for accommodation.
@@blown9646I did see a pic of the 17” and the 19” frame from one of the members on the FB group and you can definitely see a difference on Standover height between the two. It’s great David offers both sizes! ✌️
I am indeed very tall and happy to hear that I am not normal height for women, love being tall, and yes I put my seat very high for proper leg extension for pedaling, but I did lower it by a kit for this off roading test. Thanks for chiming in ❤
That's why most people want a cruiser and Ecells is $2900... Wired has a cruiser for $2100 after tax. It is faster and has a better display as well as brakes and more.
@electrifiedlatina6871 Pickup is free. I live close enough for chicago. Getting a wired at almost 2000$ instead of almost 3000$. Wired is in a league of there own.
@@stopcantstopwont9539 that’s great that for you it’s free to pickup- for most people it has to be shipped. Ecells still comes cheaper after adding a second battery 60v15ah like Wired’s comes to $2,195- no charges for taxes or shipping. $2,900 is so far from the truth. Enjoy your Wired
@electrifiedlatina6871 You said Ecells is cheaper with 2 batteries??? If Wired is +$250 for delivery. That's $2104+250= $2354 after tax and shipping for a Wired Cruiser... E-cells website shows with 2 batteries the cost has a 300$+ fee for a tarrif tax. So the Cruiser after dual batteries shows 2900$ in check out for Ecells. That's still 550$ more than Wired+shipping.
It's unbelievable how Dave from ecells sent you that bike after you bad mouthed him and his company on one video ridimg a wired bike, calling him a copy cat. News flash. They are all just middlemen buying bikes from China like Alibaba. Videos like that affect your credibility unfortunately. That said I like your energy.
