Khabib Nurmagomedov is back in training camp with Islam Makhachev ahead of UFC 294 where Islam will rematch Charles Oliveira for the UFC Lightweight championship. #KHABIB #UFC
@@triocha233for sure - with his build and natural body structure he could have easily moved up - I get him retiring though and to be fair he’s definitely become pretty active with other related things
@@thefelipelacerdaperfect far from that 4 title defence scared go up weight classes padded record fought everyone tailor made for him overrated as fu#k
Khabib The Eagle Nurmagomedov He is a ver strong fighter a great and sklled champion a big heart of golds. We can all agree he definetely contributed to the sport even though he retired early. JazakAllahKhairan (God bless him)
Movlid Khaybulaev (PFL champ), Mahamedkhabib Kadimagomedov (Olympic Medalist) and now Khabib Nurmagomedov (G.O.A.T). Makhachev trains with these monsters, I feel bad for oliveira.
No this is after training for hours. These are time under tension pushups. You can hear the sweat in his clothing when he hits the mat. This kind of pushups is for building cardio because there is no rest at the top.
Khabib is great but he ain’t no goat of the sport at the end of the day he fought tin cans on his way to the top of the division and he barley defended the belt when he had it
The purpose is to fatigue and burn the muscle group under constant tension this is obviously after a rigorous training session but im stoked to see all the fitness gurus talk shit on how he "wont build muscle or strength through bs reps" post your world championship belts or athletic accomplishments then talk
@Juzer654they are not doing for muscle growth. Their focus is different. I think people obsessed with bodybuilding should be on bodybuilding channels commenting shit nobody wants to hear your gymbro science explanation here.
@@joshuaconnell1366 the technique is used for conditioning and explosiveness, rather than building muscle. Or at least thats the idea. A proper push up is slow and has a complete range of motion all the way up and down and is equal in speed both ways; but the truth is, you dont build explosiveness from slow, methodical movements like this… building muscle? Sure. Building fortitude? Sure. Building fighting strength and explosiveness? Nope.
@@shisuiuchiha4489my guy go watch videos of proper full range of motion explosive push ups. You still go down and explode all the way up. These are partial reps, explosive or not
The smartest fighter to ever live! Fought like a king, retired undefeated like a king and now lives like a king while having 2/3 of his life left! Legend!
He wants to keep the tension on his hitting muscles and he does it explosively he is almost elevating from the ground. People don't get it cause they were never in any serious sport
The fact that khabib literally has the ability to comeback and yet he just coaches is a bit melancholic. Man is still in his prime, even tho he has gained some weight. He can literally transform to his peak in a 6 month notice. He still trains hard but does not fight

Lmao bro khabib could casually walk into the octagon right now and whoop any light weights ass apart from Islam cause that’s his childhood friend and won’t find him. 😂
Good to see volk in the background willing to grow and learn , it might do him well , just like when Strickland trained with pereira after losing to him and then he improved dramatically
Training for back resistence since the back is constant flex it resembles wrestling type cardio. Boxers do IT with hands placed a bit more forward so that u hit shoulders for punching stamina
@@adityakumarstuffdoer9591But even for endurance and punching, you don't punch in little rom. Doing it full rom and fast is more beneficial in my opinion.
@@adityakumarstuffdoer9591Your educación is terrible. These push ups stimulate more muscle then full push ups that hurt your joints keep doing your full push ups while we make more gains.
Plus it hardly matters if you’re training as much and as hard as these guys are. At a certain point it’s just about enduring the pain and keeping your muscles active. It’s not bodybuilding
I would normally agree. But read from another comment, that this is apparently used by fighters to train for fatigue when keeping their hands up. Plus, who cares the dudes retired , and obviously a beast on the mats.
I hate him because he retired very early 😠. But love and respect him because he did all this for his father ❤️🗿. UFC will never get a fighter like him again
