I absolutely agree, theres no issue in them not fitting, its more with leagal issues i would imagin. Stuff like ownership and profit, Pot would not want a offical dino in game that cant be edited or changed by them ya know?

Just let the mods stay as mods! The Parasaurolophus is a balancing nightmare and is just a niche hybrid of Lambeosaurus and Barsboldia, there's nothing unique about its niche. Dilo's just kinda metri-lite and Therizinosaurus in my experience is absolutely busted

Yeah if we are lucky maybe after the creature list officially "ends". They could start adding mods with slight tweaks to the main game like Ark does.

​@@jacobniemann4756 ARK doesn't do that in the slightest, any modded dinosaurs moved to official is a complete and total coincidence. Carcharodontosaurus never won but was extremely dominant in the community votes for example, and its addition has nothing to do with the mod "Additional Creatures 2: Wild ARK"

Well the server I'm in currently called "Impactor" has nesting as a mod! You place down a nest and invite the friends or those who want be your babies and they're immediately teleported to your nest and made as new babies. :D

@@user-xx3gb4pp1f they'd be a total balancing nightmare and would completely invalidate certain playables. Para invalidates lamb due to higher combat potential and better support moves, deino invalidates sarco, dilo gets invalidates by metri, and quetz will share the exact same niche with hatze, I bet you they won't play differently in the slightest. Assing a bunch of "this niche but again and only very slightly differently!" is how you get roster creep. Look at ARK. ARK does not have a healthy roster. Effectively, rex, allo, spino, Carno, and megalo do the exact same thing. They are all PvP statblocks, generally they have somewhat similar stats. The only differences between their niches is that allo does bleed in a group, megalo is only viable at night, spino is a semi-aquatic rex, rex is basic asf, and carno has bleed but is bad. Now look at PoT again. Their mods have this same thing of "this niche but slightly differently". Sarco is a lakeside ambusher, so is deino. Lambeo is a support character, so is para, but para is just objectively better. Dilo is a nocturnal envenomating menace, metri is a nocturnal wnven menace. Amargasaurus is an AoE tank, Yunnan and Argent are AoE tanks (one, Argent, is a super tank that breaks the dev's regulations of only animals 20m and smaller), but the latter 2 are objectively better. It all comes down to balance and how the general play around eachother

@@Bakedbreadbruh my friend, multiplayer as a broad term means to play online with others. this includes, believe it or not, community servers. sure, the official servers tab in the game menu is labelled 'multiplayer', but if somebody uses the term multiplayer i will always assume they mean online with other players; both community AND officials. hematite can just play community servers if they want mods 🤷‍♂️ there are plenty of no-rule community servers that are just like officials and have much better ping.

@@Bakedbreadbruh it got faster it's almost impossible to hit it. Like bro the only time i actually landed a hit is when we're in a cramped space. If you in the open with it it, it's game over 90% of the time. Then there's the massive packs of them where they also mix pack with allos

it's not "OP" in the traditional way. it obviously lacks brute strength, which (of course) it should. it just has too much stamina (could run down/run away from anything that isn't MUCH faster than itself), too little stamina drain, too much mid-jump movement control, debatably too little charge cooldown, is the best climber ingame, etc etc... pachy's ridiculous abilities are abused to bully other people and at this point a lot of people believe there needs to be some sort of nerf.
