I found a liquid product that de-foams instantly. And thankfully we live in NW Florida and won't need any extreme cold accessories, although we do have cold snaps every once and a while.
I built my own hot tub out of my blow up unit when it got old. I used a 3x4 skidded food grade container and routed the air through the bottom 2.5inch drain to pvc with drill holes. The in and out after lines go over the edge and connects to a 2x6 with the air tub connections for filter and puck holder. I also did a bench down one side with bricks under to hold it down. An led light strip across gives atmosphere lighting. The stairs beside is where the hot tub machine is located. The top screen from the tub in mounted at the top of the stairs so you can reach from the tub. The led light exits to a phone and battery carrier. It’s in encased in barn wood and insulated with a cedar trim inside to seal it. The lid has a rope and handles to help take it off and it’s insulated as well as plastic sealed. I can empty it and move it with the track loader we have on the property so it can sit beside my tiny home in a tented area during summer and be relocated to inside the barn for winter as my tiny home parks in the bay beside and I can go have a tub without going outside. I’m adding a waterfall filter I think soon so my water gets filtered twice and I can just add the pucks in the water fall.
Can I ask about the Dewalt vacuum. I need to ask, when using it, do you need to empty it a few times in order to get all the stuff out of the bottom? I’m in the market and wondering if I should get a bigger one… I have a plug close so I don’t need to go cordless.
Also I find with the corded ones the hose is never long enough and you can’t get into the nooks and crannies and I just get in with the cordless one. It’s just easier to maneuver
How do you get your husband to do stuff with your hot tub? My husband has totally relegated everything to me (other than the original electrical hookup) I am also CEO of the 1 acre lawn and garden.
