Oh my gosh this is so great I need this one like crazy! I was a calligrapher many years ago. Eventually I taught it. But things happened in my life, and i eventually stopped. This is terrible because I truly did become quite masterful. I loved so much about it...I can’t believe it’s been so many years. I’m actually still listening and I had to start writing and I’m starting to cry! But that’s ok I need to. I didn’t realize how much I’d let some things that happened to me in my life take so many important things I loved from me Frode. “Art is all about starting again.” I will finish the video, maybe I’ll have more later. 💚🧚♀️

I would like to start again. I do miss it yes. But it’s strange I don’t think of it much. My focus has been on other things. But when I saw this video it made me realize how much I really do miss it...does that make sense? Frode that’s just what you do to me! You’re going to shake up my life you are making me think! I can relate to 8:28. I brought a C# programming book and read it the entire time I stayed in the hospital while my dad was dying. I also showed him a cool patent I was working on before his mind completely dissolved from the toxins of organ failure.
Yes it can be just one idea. And this is your gift Frode. You have the ability to take complex ideas and distill them to their core. And you give us choices. Like when you asked me if I want to do calligraphy again or am I happy not doing it. I can’t tell you how many times people have said to me “why aren’t you doing calligraphy? You were so good at. You could do commission work and earn some money...”. I would feel such guilt and pressure. I want to ask you when this started for you but I think I know. You were probably a curious and intelligent child who innerstood our connection to each other and creation and when you combine this with empathy people are able to really hear you because it resonates in their souls.
