46:00 I don't think the Powerstone paid the commander tax directly, I think it activated the Interplanar Beacon ability to produce mana that was allowed to pay the tax. It was also used to cast Jaya in the same way 50:50

Crazy to see the big cost artifacts from BRO(Portal, Mightstone and Leveler and the colored cycle) seeing so much play outside of decks you would traditionally find them in. That's how you know a card is good, when every deck finds a way to play it

Chandra tribal with Torch of Defiance is my fave Brawl deck by far. I have a list very similar to this one and I'm loving the (slightly) different approach you take with it! I think it's a very underrated deck that can hang with most A-B tier commanders, and some S tier ones too.

Chandra really is a fun Commander in Brawl. Gets a little bit better every time a two mana rock is added to the format, but will never be overpowering.

My strat is to use Chandra, Awakened Inferno as commander in what is otherwise basically the same deck. You get lower tier matchups and just gotta add a few more ramp artifacts since she's 6 mana instead of 4. She gives you a removal spell, a board wipe, and an uncounterable threat all in one from the command zone.

I know you have plenty of deck ideas a-brewing, but a deck I've never seen around and had a lot of success with myself is Klothys control. I wont post a list, I'm sure you can do a great job of piecing it together if you wanted. I've used a mix of ramp, removal, value engines, and burn finishers and generally kept the curve low and full of all-stars in CGB style. Win-rate has been very good, you reliably sweep/outheal aggro, and reliably drain/burn control (klothys hard to remove rarely activates devotion). Weak matchup is combo (although creature based you can be OK with instant red removal)

Tried a version of this deck just yesterday, focused on casting big spells and ulting my Chandras. Had a Kaya's Kindling, Arcane Bombardment and Chandra Dressed to Kill emblem. Good times.

As a rusko user I never drop him on turn 4 but that's because I'm not using him just for ramp and draw...I use him to break my opponents emotionally sometimes all I need is golden argosy and oracle of the alpha but at the same time I love having 8+ clock towers

I found a bug in this video! At 50:45, he casted Jaya with 3 Lands and a powerstone, but Jaya is a nonartifact spell.

Not a bug! True, you can't use powerstone mana to cast a planeswalker, but you can use it to activate Interplanar Beacon, which creates mana that is then used to cast a planeswalker. And auto-tapper is smart enough to do it all seamlessly.

I would say Zareth isn't the best dimir control commander, yes he's good but Xanathar is better. If you can control the board enough to get zanathar into play and ensure your opponent only had lands to draw its GG

The powerstone was used to autotap the land that says "tap 1 for any color". Atleast that's what I think. I guess it would have to say tap for 2? Idk that does seem like a weird interaction.

It's a little iffy, but I'm also fairly certain they can't pay for commander tax as commander tax is part of an additional cost (and thus the total cost of the spell).
