TBH, compact size watches are loved by watch enthusiasts and collectors world wide, unfortunately in India the demand of smaller compact size watches are very less. Often people considers smaller dial watches as for girls. Timex is fighting hard with hype in Indian market about smart watches which will fade away anyway in few years. On a separate note, you checkout HMT Kedar which is a great automatic watch at 7k and perfect size for your preference, its in stock in official HMT website.
Thanks for your review, after watching your videos I am loving my current watch more and more, now planning on to upgrade to GS lake Suwa! or any spring drive movement. Will need to save for atleast 7-8 months haha. What is your opinion about Spring drive? Do you consider them same piece of art as fully mechanical or not? For me it initially mattered a lot but now all I can see and notice sometimes is smoothness of second hand (Currently using Seiko 6R24 movement, 28800 BHP 4HZ)
My opinion about spring drive is 1 sec a day accuracy comes at a premium price. And of course it requires maintainance by experience watch maker which will also attract good amount of money. But I am sure when one can shred that amount of money to buy an watch then these ancillary costs will not matter (Rolls-Royce owner does not care about fuel economy 😉). But one can enjoy the gliding hands which is absolute visual treat. But personally, when I will buy my first luxury watch at around 5 lakhs, I will go for mechanical automatic by a swiss watch maker. But this is my personal choice only.

Sir, is it completely automatic or does it need winding every 36-40 hours? If it needs winding i assume it is a mechanical watch. I want a complete automatic watch, where I don't have to wind the crown sir, please clear my doubt.

Does it have the typical "miyota stutter" in the second hand? Or they fixed it in the new iteration. And thanks for the review.. I am considering buying one next sale.
@@erwinrommel1989 stuttering issue has been addressed to a greater extent, but when you keep new 8215 next to SEIKO 4R35 or 4R36, you might still find second hand in SEIKO is smoother 😃
Any automatic watch would need servicing. The new age automatic watches with reliable movement if used at least weekly then it will keep working without service for about 7 years. And then accuracy will get impacted and it would need service.
