I understand you guys! I think we all expected Jackson to have rap lines and more lines overall but i think this time he had the chance to show some vocals!!! which he did great tbh and also i think he having less lines (sadly) gave the chance to the other two rappers of the group (Mark and Bambam) to stand out a little bit more and get people to know they are good at it as well! So i think it's a win-win situation :) thanks for the cool and honest reaction! Shouldn't you be proud that a GOT7 MEMBER is so famous and loved? That Jackson being famous and loved only brings popularity to GOT7? Idiots. Jackson worked his ass off by himself on variety shows, for years, trying to promote GOT7 and this is how you thank him? By hating on him? GOT7 do not deserve fans like you people. jackson's character is the king, and he's surrounded by the two groups of people because the song is loosely based on romeo and juliet-- so the two groups would represent the montagues and capulets while jackson is the mediator, the prince.

I like how towards the end the climactic point really builds and when the beat drops you can't help but dance to it. I needed more of that and the layers of the vocals was like getting punches after punches. They just keep getting better!

this mv is based on romeo and juliet 💖 it's not a circus 😂 it's a curtain opening when they made their debut ! on their teaser, the clock stop at 1:16( their debut time is 16/1). and jaebeom started to walk by each member, then they make a debut. watch the mv teaser and thankyou for watching GOT7 Not by the moon ❤️

The teasers, concept photos and vlive #EveryDateGOT7 with each member was to “DYE” for. They were so charming 🥰 the album itself brings a dark dramatic elegant style to it, which reminds me of their I Won’t Let You Go & Eclipse era with Jackson recent comeback “100Ways”. If you know those albums and song then you’ll know what ai mean. Their title track “Not By The Moon” for this comeback is such a melody to my ears and I cant help notice the symbolism they used from some of their previous albums adding to their storyline with a classy novel concept and powerful vocals along with sharp rapping from the rapline. Youngjae, Jinyoung & JB hitting those high notes and don’t even get me started on their fits & JB long hair 👀 *After reviewing a few times reminds me of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet story about lovers who kills themselves over love; where Juilet didn’t want him to go to have love to last forever but Romeo ends up dead by poison and Juliet kills herself because she doesn’t want to live without Romeo. There’s constant phases like ‘O Swear Not By The Moon‘ that reference Juliet telling her lover Romeo not to make a promise by the moon since it always changes, poison bottle that was used to kill Romeo and the row of coffin then at the end they’re riding off inside a western carriage.* My biases JB, Jackson, Jinyoung and Yugyeom but I love & support OT7.* #GOT7NotByTheMoon

As a long time fan of GOT7, I also had my own expectations from them, especially when it's a song composed by JYP himself, which you've highlighted too. After my first listen, I was apprehensive and unsure whether I liked the song. There were points you mentioned that I agree with, like the bit about the hook being repetitive and the low frequency of the song. It's understandable that you expected more from this song / Jackson's parts from a rapper's perspective because I also look forward to Jackson's hard-hitting rap that you can find in his solo songs. Nevertheless, I appreciate your time and effort to give their new song a listen. :)

About the lines distribution I think it's good because they change focus and it's interesting, as a group they need to think as a whole formation and that everyone of them are important in the group. Since I started follow GOT7 I learned the real meaning of group and fight for a goal as a group. They're amazing people who love and take care of each other 💚

Thank you for your reaction!!! If you want to listen to something more rap focused or unique in got7 you should check their b-sides. Their company JYPE is putting their hands more in their title tracks while b-sides often has more flavor of members of the group. I would recommend To Me b-side. It has official video and has very interesting sound and it's one of my favorite. 1 Degree is also very nice but more vocal heavy both produced among other names by Yugyeom who is a maknae of GOT7. As for line distribution unfortunately rappers of the group get not too many lines. This time since Jackson was singing he got more lines than usual. Also outside of rap heavy songs I would like to recommend Youngjae's songs like Time Out it has unique sound!!!
