Kemi Badenoch, Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, vows to hold the Labour Government to account on its housebuilding promises. SUBSCRIBE for more 👉 ru-vid.com...
What a revelation, absolutely brilliant speech, let us see more of this lady. She absolutely nailed her points to the wall! Refreshing to hear the facts and her delivery was perfect, good luck to Kemi, a possible new leader.
Starmer is disgusting, why the hell you vote for him. He needs to go. Starmer is imposing his ideology of the UK of how HE thinks it should be and how we live. If you don't follow him, he will jail you.................FACT
What just happened there. A back handed compliment wrap in 2 hands of sarcasm. W 3:42 ashed down with a mouthful of home truths. KB, you're a real star performer at the Despatch Box.
What an outstanding speech from Kimi Badenoch. I think this lady needs to be the voice of the Conservative leader. She speaks clearly without any fluff, that makes us understand what she is talking about. Just what this Country needs. We need more like her in our government. I didn’t vote for either of the mainline parties because of who lead them. I would think again with a powerful source such as her.
Kemi's parents are Nigerian and she spent her childhood in Nigeria, she returned to UK at 16, do you think that she will be loyal to UK wholeheartedly? Why did Sunak leave the D-day ceremony early? Because he didn't care about the British culture, heritage and history. Why did he celebrate the Indian Diwali in the 10 Downing Street with his Indian fellows? Because he cared about the Indian culture and heritage. You should never put the migrants of different race in important polical position, it is not racism but matter of loyalty, national security and culture conservation
@@janetmalcolm6191 Kemi Badenoch applied some truth of the realities of the situation Angela Rayner has been left with , which is fine and well said. she Angela Rayner does have a massive problem with Liberal Clowns ... i voted Reform as i want Britain to do better
The bots are malfunctioning, the programmer meant to specify "Reform" but mistakenly put "Remain". Those running the bots are attempting to ensure Kemi is the leader of the conservative party for one very clear reason.

Kemi… you are gold, she the rayner warrior could not do a speech in such calmness . I bet when the warrior got back to her chamber she throw everything out of her pram, cussing but knowing she could never be a lady like Kemi …
What an amazing speech. One of the best in years. Angela Raynor was impressed and left struggling to respond. Well done Kemi. The best PM we didn’t have.
Certainly classier than Rayner but that would be to set the bar very low. Her expression, "affordable homes" is a ridiculous one. Why would anyone build unaffordable homes? An interesting take on things, however. Rayner, and this Labour government will fail as badly as Badenoch and the Tory government did. We will however, see a difference in how these two politicians deal with their failure. Rayner will deal with it in a far less classy fashion. A plague, however, on both their houses.
Although I'm not African migrant, I'm a woman of colour and a migrant coming to UK in my 20s. I have just listened to this fantastic speech and decided to support Kemi, NOT because of these left woke slogan and ideology that she's a woman and she's not white, because she's competent, brutal honest and spot on. That's what I want from a politician, and I hope what most people with sense want! That's also the argument for migrants: people who are willing to work hard to contribute, to value and respect the British values are welcome always, but those who simply wish to take advantage of the welfare system, have no respect of laws and rules, break the core of British society, should not be welcome or allowed in. Skin colour and origin are not the issues.

Only if she’s moving to Reform. She is a star player but now trying to prop up a losing team. That said…. If people like you keep backing losers….. we’ll be seeing Mr Starmer again.
@@BB-kl7hzyou are aware reforms future depends on who the tories chose as leader. If Badenoch or Jenrick become leader the tories will clearly become more right wing and embrace it. That means reform will probably get squeezed a bit since two of the same will be saying similar things, so they unite as one probably, even they won’t be stupid as to let Labour in on 33% again.
Agree with her or not, that speech from Kemi demonstrates her intellectural ability over the Angela. I think she could be right, Angela is being set up to take the blame of failure. Kemi was very nice to her 😁.
Her job was to rally the old Faithfull and get their votes, now that's been achieved she is merely an embarrassment needing to be sidelined or disposed of at earliest convenience.
@@KolyaNickDyou could be right, it certainly seems to be going that way by Starmer sidelining her in favour of no. 11. I can't wait to hear Angela gobbing off when reality dawns. 😂

Let’s truthful. If kemi was chosen as leader in 2022, they’d still be in power today. With such a swing as 5.6% taking away their majority, I’d be stunned if kemi doesn’t make a deal with reform and appeal to all voters. She’s that unique

Housing, immigration and NHS are the only pawns dangling for gormless public. How about telling us why the Public is deprived of civil courts and legal system as the online legal system is not fit for purpose. Running a country by call centres abroad means this country has no future. Badenock is saying more about herself than deputy PM. What arrogance.

Kemi Badenoch - pure commonsense! What an amazing politician - this is the first time I've listened to her and I am flabbergasted that she wasn't made leader of the Conservatives.
Let this sink in. The Second most powerful person in UK government does not have any High School qualifications, and was a grandmother by the time she was 37.
A warm, witty, wily speech, often self-deprecating embracing some home truths about being in power, but not actually being able to wield power. I'm not a Tory, but I still don't find this arrogant in attitude, more a deflationary tract where others would have spun inflationary rhetoric. Well done.

Kemi Badenoch should’ve been elected leader instead of Truss. I said so at the time to anyone that would listen. She was easily the best candidate. She stands out now because there are simply no other politicians of any party worthy of a contest with her. What a breath of fresh air she will be once the irrelevant Sunak bows out.
in case you were wondering this was about demonstrating her mettle in the tory leadership contest, where all the other contenders are weak farts, she's the real thing. would be very curious indeed if they didn't pick the only choice they have

I remember a phrase being used at work to describe the most blindly ambitious people. It was that they keep climbing the ladder until they reach their level of incompetence. The conservatives needed some time out of power, it's just unfortunate that the only way to do that is to have a labour government, Rayner will crumble. Kemi has got to be a future prime minister.
Oh, it's not thoughtless, it is a completely thought through assessment of the Labour Party's start to Government, unfortunately. I wish it were different. 😢
Horrific legacy they inherited. It's like trying to get a crashed car started. You choose to ignore who crashed it into a lamppost in the first place. Nice cognitive dissonance there buddy.
I always appreciate listening to Kemi, She's a smart lady who knows her stuff, but I find the sitcom laughter response to all of the serious problems our country is facing today deeply disturbing.
As someone who has been involved with developing major housing projects, particularly the front end, planning permission can easily take 2 years. These sites usually have to prepare an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as part of the planning process, which includes a lot of issues, particularly wildlife and Sites of Special Scientific Interest, etc etc. So you prepare these reports and they accompany the planning application, there are then discussions with the Planners and inevitably changes are required, so all of this takes time and the EIA will be out of date and a new one is required, so another year is required. Also capacity of drainage, electricity, gas, water, changes to local roads, relocating electrical pylons etc etc , so somewhere along the line you will , no doubt, have to deal with some of these. Good luck to the 1.5 million homes
anyway, whoever saw an MP with a wheelbarrow and cement? none of them "build houses" they make their living bu talking. my children need a home not a lot of words.
Absolutely fantastic and you could see the fear in Labour's eyes as the realisation hit home that Kemi is spot on. NO more head shaking in disagreements from Rayner, no more baracking from her back benches. Just frightened reflection on truths that are already coming out.
The British public did the wrong thing by letting the Tories win even 1 seat. Look it up, Tory MPs vote to the left of Labour voters, they're not conservative in literally any regard. If they were they wouldn't be pushing 2 blacks and an Indian for leader.
Fewer voters voted for Labour in 2024 than did in 2017 or 2019. It was Conservative voters voting Reform, not voting or even voting Lib Dem that caused the Conservative Party to haemorrhage votes
I don't expect Labour Party to give any houses to British people who have been waiting for a house for many years. They will all be allocated to legal or illegal unwanted immigrants who will be given everything they ask for.
They are going to be housed within communities. Just watch house sales and who is buying them to house illegals and paying their bills. It is only going to get worse.

Kemi and Penny….now that would be one hell of a partnership in opposition. This speech is clearly an indication of her intention to pursue the party leadership position, not sure if she has the experience but after watching her performance my doubts are reducing. Good luck Kemi, I’m looking forward to the Tories appointing a dynamic new head and highlighting the errors of Socialism.
There’s a few young people that have done apprenticeships for all sorts of trades but unfortunately no jobs followed for them. Maybe something will come of that when all the houses start to be built
Are there young people in this country? YES. You should fight against the woke policies in schools which have made young people stupid. I an an immigrant and have pumped into their heads reality not the idiotic ideologies being sold to youngsters. Yes i came here as an immigrant and have 2 powerful professions. One in law and the other in academia. Oh yes, i had to just work hard. My first one is also in Law School, completing next month, my second a footballer and on a finance course. They know very well that if they come to me to complain of Mental Health issues, they will not be able to leave my sight not hurt. I should have mental health issues not them. Get your youngsters to stop fooling and get to work. The Eastern European youngsters are not coming back my friend.
