Good vid. I use a little $55 eBay special that I use with a mix of tap water, dishwashing liquid concentrate and citric acid. Run it for 30 minutes. Does a pretty good job. I’m gonna run them with that mix in a cement mixer just to see what happens. I always put them through the dry tumbler with corn cob media with a little squirt of waxless car polish in it at the last step. That puts a real nice polish on them.

Tumble either wet or dry gets the cases much cleaner but you have to deal with the noise and dust (dry) and removing those steel pins and walnut pieces is a pain in the A$$. Sonic requires you to clean primer pocket first and when done with sonic cycle you will need to hand dry off cases with an old T-Shirt then your cases will look brand new. I live in a high-rise condo and can't make all that noise nor have all that dust flying around so sonic clean my only option.

Whoa! So load the supersonic with brass and SS pins and solution plug it in and throw it in the washing machine on spin cycle. Should do the trick! 😳

I love my SS pins. I wouldn't turn my sonic cleaner back on. Just saying. Great video Sir! Keep them coming.

The Negative to SS pins 👎 They don't polish. They Scrape the surface and chew up the case mouth and primer pockets. Look at them under magnification compared to walnut shell. Plus missing one and running down the barrel of your high dollar precision rifle barrel is a bad thing 💯%

I'm confused 😕 You didn't show any CLEAN primer pockets! I use a dry tumbler with walnut shell and cleaning additive and almost all the primer pockets are nice and shiny like they should be. I do about 200 pieces of 9mm at a time and straight to the press no drying and water spots to deal with. 👍👌

I know. I did have to use my primer pocket cleaner outer on a few but it does a pretty good job on pockets to be honest.

what additive u use?.. i have any good luck finding a good on.. if ya dont mind?.. can ya share ur cleaning ingredient ?. i use dry tumbler, with walnut etc..

I have to agree that those primer pockets were far from clean, I have exact machine and I use SW cleaner and dawn and they are spotless inside and out, 2 cycles of 8 minutes with heat.

@@brianscott1894 My HORNDY Cleaner says no heat ; let the cleaner takes it's course without adding any heat when cleaning brass rifle cases. I do however put in a little LemiShine that does a great job as an additive to One Shot by Hornady
