The anointing is the Holy Spirit and He protects Himself without our help. Our job is to submit (obey) to God and resist (contradict) the devil and he will flee from us. (James 4:7)
In actuality, i believe that our obedience DOES protect our ANOINTING. If your listen to the ENTIRE sermon, that's actually the basis for her title. Obedience to parents, obedience to the Lord, and resisting the devil by staying away from the APPEARANCE even if evil She basically just said what you did. Obedience is the protection she speaks of. And in her text, when Delilah cut Sampson's hair, his ANOINTING WAS diminished, Man of God. Sampson was distracted by his lust for Delilah, and it AFFECTED his ANOINTING indeed. 😳
We need to read the ENTIRE word and not just cherry pick the Bible, beginning only what SOUNDS good to our ears. Or ANOINTING is OUR responsibility as much as it is God's. Yes the gifts and calling off the Lord are without repentance, but we have a duty to guard our hearts and minds THROUGH Christ Jesus ... That's something we do OURSELVES. With God's indwelling power.

Thank you holy spirit, I needed to hear this, I was passing by and just got into this sermon and I couldnt stop watching, I tap into the annointing in Jesus mighty name, I am shifting, true indeed knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and walking in obedience to God nothing can stop you, He is a faithful God. Sin is one of the enemies strategies to divert us from the true purpose of God but the devil is a lie, we are winners in Christ Jesus.

She is not saying protect the Holy Spirit. What she is saying that if we sin we lose the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple so if we fall in sin he will not stay. It's up to us to make sure we remain Holy & protect what we have been given by 🚶♀️ 🚶♂️ walking in obedience to God.
Regina the Bible does not teach us that the Holy Spirit will not dwell in an unclean temple. The Bible teaches us, that if we sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. His Son cleanses us from all sin! It is the Holy Spirit that convicts us of sin and leads us to repentance! This is not the first time that I heard this statement, but it is not Biblical. 1 John chapters 1 & 2 Just want to encourage you to study the Word of God for yourself! 💜
