@@LevelFORce I've seen them now, but I havent had time to set them up on my pc yet. None the less I am really looking forward to it. Thanks for the heads up!
This was all super fun to play through for the first time whilst blind and hearing the devastation and people in the mach speed section just… not living.
Yeah. Probably the point where Silver or Blaze weren’t actually in Crisis City. I feel like this is the route of if Sonic failed to save Elise and the destruction released on it’s own.
The way they go leaping from building to building and jumping off rooftops is just filled with the exaggerated swagger of a teenage blue hedgehog and an over fifty year old black hedgehog
god we need MORE stuff like this i freaking love sonic and shadow’s bromance in the earlier games; as cynical and dry as 06 was, it was sadly the only time we got to see them work together, and i loved it
Im pretty sure that the "saving Shadow" part was actually for a Multiplayer story mode for Sonic and Shadow where they chase down Eggman. I think someone took all the sound files and put them in order on YT too.
@@sonicgamer178 ok I knew it existed but I swear it was longer than that. I always thought the video was 20 minutes long, not 4. Tho thx for the channel name.
I see what you did there, and yes it is 🔥! Especially with the Mach Speed section, saving Sonic from that trap, saving Shadow from that tornado, and the race! What a fantastic and amazing mod! And huge props to whoever created it!
07:35 was not an edit, I just died from something.. lmao it happened multiple times so not sure how to get around it. Love the stuff with Shadow lol, was this unused content? or mabye a imagining based on the voice lines, I'm curious bow. Usually I play with the mod patches for 06, but it caused various bugs (as well as not triggering the goal ring), so all the patches are off for this video. It actually ended up being easier to play with the patches turned off than on due to scripts and various other things, so I'll just do no patches for the rest of the super hard stages.
I'm not 100% sure why the safety net doesn't kick in, but it's caused by grabbing Shadow a bit too late. He's set up as a player character (so that you restart if you fail to save him), but unfortunately if you "grab" him too late, the invisible wall that's set to spawn doesn't activate correctly and he hits the spikes anyway. You can get around it by just hopping on the spring a bit earlier. The Sonic-Shadow interactions were based off of a ton of unused voice lines (there are even more of 'em for playing through the stage from Shadow's perspective). I wanted to work in Sonic's unused buggy animations somewhere as well, but it didn't end up fitting with the level. Yeaaah, Super Hard was explicitly designed around no patches, and while I tried to make sure the popular ones (things like rotation interpolation and chain jump flips) wouldn't break things too hard, there are some random patches that cause issues (someone once reported a character swap just not working iirc). It's possible that the goal ring didn't spawn if you were just too far away from Shadow, though. Normally how the final section works is when you rail grind up the half-pipe, a glitch kicks in and snaps Sonic very close to Shadow. Objects spawn in based on where the main player is, so if you get too far away from him, things can actually break pretty badly; I was surprised you didn't die there, honestly. Fun fact, in any section where Shadow appears in Crisis City, you can plug in a second controller and play as him.
They were intended to both be playable in Crisis City (depending on who you were playing as, either Sonic or Shadow would need to be saved from the tornado). But it went unused, like much of the games content.
If Sonic '06 Is already Hard With The Glitches, Imagine With That Difficulty Level Levels In-Game, It Would Be The Most Impossibly Thing On The Existence Ever
@@schemar17 Yeah, but it's not too great to play some games without lag. I prefer to play consoles, and I was wondering how can play Sonic 06 mods on an actual 360 without dissambling the console if possible.
Something about cpu controller characters running through the levels with you feels right like in the timed section where shadow tags along with the sonic. Can this be done more?
It was pretty finnicky to set up due to limited tools (it technically broke in this video, Sonic and Shadow should've been synced up much more closely in the last section), but I've got some more options now and have expanded character interactions for Shadow's Super Hard.
@@schemar17 Unsure, it'll be a while before Shadow's gets completed lol. If I ever tackle Silver's, it'll probably be a more Blaze-focused campaign with Silver appearing periodically for puzzle solving. I'd like to experiment with using his psychokinesis to create a path through the level for Blaze.
My only gripe is that shadow counts as a player in section one and thus when he falls, you game over. so don't hold forward ever, but you won't get through if you don't hold forward.
While the mod has some cool looking sections, and having those extra lines for the characters, the level design leaves a lot to be desired. Some weird design decisions make some sections be incredibly rough around the edges, and others, well... not good... But seeing shadow being trapped and flying around in the tornado is incredibly cute lol
Can you do a Sonic vs Shadow in Generations maybe on PC for 60fps but with the song I Am... All Of Me? @HD PLAYGROUND did something similar, but can you do the NateWantsToBattle remix of I Am All Of Me?
Hey, I have a video request. Next time when you do a final boss battle, like o6 or Unleashed, can you play you say run from My Hero Academia? I really enjoy that song and believe it would fit the final battle of those games, but I would choose O6.
