Am I the only one struck by the level of controversy of this chapter? Both of his daughters got him drunk one night after the other, and had babies with him!? Really, just me?
Nope, not the only one lol. Having two daughters myself that watch the videos I tried to keep the imagery as toned down as possible. I'm sure someone with much more knowledge than I have would have an answer, but why couldn't they just go back to the city that was spared to find a husband? Was their father really the only option in land? 🤔 I feel like we are missing a lot of details lol.
I’ve asked a pastor. They say the girls figured all men were dead after the event, but still… questions: 1: as someone who’s been drunk, you can’t get me drunk enough to involuntarily have sex, especially not a daughter 2: how do you get someone so drunk to do so twice in a row 3: would the father not ask how they were pregnant if he really didn’t realize having done so? 4: how is this not a common topic at church ?

It's so good to be back to work. I am getting too old to be moving. I see on your channel you have some new baby chicks! I had a bunch of chickens and some baby chicks I had to get rid of when we moved. I miss them and their delicious eggs every day.

@@MakeHeavenCrowded a little about me. In 2009 I lost my sister and my brother one week apart. My sister passed away from cancer. My brother killed himself a week later and then I lost my mother the following year Mother’s Day morning of all days. My whole life went into a tailspin. I lost my job. I lost my car…..everything. My brother drove me back up to Massachusetts to start over and it was tougher a long time I ended up getting a minimum wage job just to get by and I saved up enough money to buy a car. I lived in that car for six months, trying to save money for an apartment which I finally got. I ended up working three jobs 16 hours a day to get back on my feet. I eventually did and I’m doing well now, but I have been at the bottom. Sometimes I look up and think someone is looking down at me. God is real because during those dark days when I was alone, I asked him to just give me the strength to get through it and I did. God is real.
