@@tupo1477 Thank you so much for this one! 😄😄Nobody told you can be a radio presenter, an MC or a Voice Actor brings your episodes to life, I'm feeling you😄😄😄
I did the braids part this evening. It took me about 3 hours to do just that part. My arms got tired a lot since I have Lupus. And I'll add the curly hair later on tonight or in the morning after I rest up. But doing the crochet way is much easier for me when doing braids adding the hair. I did have to redo my first three braids when I finished my whole head because I perfected the concept and my braids eventually were tighter and neater. I will be using this technique from now on!! I'm loving it!!! I can now do my own braids. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING US THIS METHOD!!!! ❤❤😄😄
Hi there White mum of mixed-girls with eternal gratitude here! As I always wanted them to embrace their natural beauty I have tried to learn and look for advice since they were little and honestly, I never came across any videos that taught me as much, gave details and useful advice as yours did! Plus you have a charming personality shining through all tutorials which made them even more fun to bimgewatch all. Those were life changing to me and my teen girls, especially now they started to experiment with beauty stuff. Still struggle to find affordable quality products for a natural style to give shine, one to prevent frizz, prevent shrinkage and fix/lock twists or braids to let them last longer (living in Europe-Belgium. Locals with tips let me know!) Last few years really a lot has changed as more products became available now for mixed/coloured womenl here too, great evolution. Imagine that 10 years ago I have searched everywhere and finally ordered a black barbie doll online in the USA because I did not want them to have only white dolls. Still a long way to go though but the (r)evolution made advice like yours available to a mum like me, allowing me to empower my chicks and embrace their gorgeous beauty proudly. ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely LOVE the simplicity of the styles you do Tuppo. I (and I'm sure others) truly appreciate that you are always awear to make sure to do styles that are easy to do, always beginner friendly and beautiful. You are my go to girl for the best quick, beautiful simple style. Love and am in awe of your talent. ❤️
THIS right here! Best beginner-friendly, no rubber method I've seen. You did this sis! Thank you for showing us how to do this beautiful, elegant style
Just did this for the first time and although it didn't come out perfectly, it is very cute. Will definitely be better next time. Truly beginner friendly! Thanks queen!
The is the easiest, simplified explanation of how to do this. I love your step by step repeated directions. That style is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Bingo! I knew it was a simpler way to add the curly hair in the braid! Thank you for simplifying it came out so BEAUTIFUL!! YOU slayed this sis! I'm trying it TODAAAYYY!❤

i recently just watched this video , and decided to do it myself. i love the outcome of this hairstyle, it took me 5 hours to do it but it was worth it. thanks for making this video. i also mentioned you on my community board if you didnt get a chance to see it yet. thanks again!
I have always been struggling with the crochet hooking, now I see I was feeding from the thicker part not slim at the end and the original knot too tight.lovely tutorial.
Thank you very much Tupo. I planned on doing Jumbo braids and happened to stumble over your video and was like yes, Yes, YEASSS!! This is exactly what I was aiming for. Tried it out for the first time and I was super duper conent with the results. God bless you for making another sister look on fleek 👌🏿
Yes, this style is very easy and beginner friendly. I actually just did this method on my daughter 💕. Thanks for all of your tips ☺️. This style looks great on you 🧡.
Thank you. Thank you . Thank you sis! I just finished my hair. It looks amazing for my first time. I know I will get better and better using this technique.💜 True blessing .
Thank you so much This will be my first time doing my own braids I asked for jumbo braids My salon $120 My neighbor got hers done she charged her $180 it was only to her shoulders.. expensive 😢❤
I'm not a beginner, but I want braids and I'm on a budget. I've developed mild carpal tunnel in my hands, so they cramp up badly. I'm also a content creator. You're video came up in my feed today and I went and picked up some hair to try this method. I was looking for hair to achieve a style similar to this and I couldn't find it. I will be making a reaction video when I'm done. This is gorgeous
Thank you soooo much for doing this tutorial for those who have a problem with griping the hair such as myself. It was so easy and less time to do. My daughter loves the method
I love this method! My hair is fine, so I didn't want to do the typical rubber band crochet method. This is perfect. I'm going to try it with braids that are a little bit smaller. So glad I came across your channel!
Ty for breaking it down & the slow visual of what you're doing. Getting ready to do my daughters hair now. She cut it short to get her natural curls back. We are big on protective hair styles. Subscribed to keep getting your tips 💯
This is a great technique that I think helps protect your natural hair. I like that you discard the small rubber band and plait the hair. I will try this method.
I just love listening to you as you do your hair always, you are soo gifted☺️, and I get more motivated to do my hair always coz if Tupo can, I can too, just wish you could do knotless
Gosh I must be a real novice as this took me two days.. I just didn't understand first how to use a crochet needle, then how to add the top part of the hair to plait over your own hair and hide it. Plus the hair kept getting tangled when I eventually was braiding and getting into knits.... Whew.. But.. I did it. Neve done anything b4 at all, so super oieud if myself. X
Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. I'm learning how to braid my hair. I know about the rubber band method for beginners, but this is a cool alternative! ❤
This is amazing! I've never braided my own hair I'm never been that good at doing my own styles but I'm really trying to learn and give it a try. I am going to try this style I've been wanting box braids forever. I have 4C type hair its so thick I'm scared this may take me forever 😂. But yeah any tips will help guys wish me luck! ❤ P.S. LOVE THE ENERGY IS A VIBE SIS 🔥
So I’ve been looking for a way to do my own braids beginner friendly and looks like you nailed it! IM SO SUBSCRIBING ❤️ This might be my holiday vaca look!! YAAAASSSSSS SIS👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Oh Plus, I’m loving your Hypeness, if that’s a word 🥰
I am here for you... you just saved me $300. Im 40, only worned braids once in my life but this heat situation its pointless to flat iron my hair. I reached out to local braiders and the amount they charge. Like Im not knocking braiders hustle. I just can't afford it. But THIS video is giving me hope that I can do my owm. Wish me luck🤞🏾
I think i prefer this way better because I feel like it’s less damaging for hair loss, you not tugging too much against your skull . Love this style aswel ❤❤ keen to do it myself 😊
Don't you hate to see that, you been watching some of these people for years and they hair still hasn't grown none, like sis let's talk about hair care and why your hair has not grown....lol
Queen! When I tell you this changed my life ! I was able to do this style by myself and I have never done braids before 🤍🥰🫶🏾 thank you soooooo much ! I shared the video with many friends 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I’m soo speechless right now, that looks amazing and makes me want to try it out. This is a learning experience for me because I want to learn how to braid my own hair 🙏😇
Mam, you are a life saver. Thank you soo much. My hair is super thick and curly. Even when I slick it with the Shine N Gel, a few hours later, the curls are popping and peeping out of my braids. I will try this way and prayfully that smaller piece can keep my curls tamed.
Lady u r a life saver!! I'm going to Jamaica in 2 days. I'm 12 weeks post my hair dresser is unavailable. And they want 200 for this very style . Thank u!! So easy and classy. New subbie!!
The voice over was a real confidence booster for me. I’m going to try this right now. I soon due to give birth and was looking for something I can do myself ❤
