As for your designs with older elements, I think that you could take trash and make it into something beautiful. You have talent and skill and I'm always amazed by what you come up with. To go and make a card…and finish it… in half an hour to look like this one is fantastic! I love the whole thing. I rarely use children type die cuts but the whole design came together so well. You did great! ( I’m from Waterford Michigan).

@@dropofsunshine hi again. I’m new to your channel so I was trying to figure out where you’re from as your accent doesn’t pronounce the double “t “ in words like better or wetter and such. I’m guessing Portugal? I have a German gal friend who doesn’t pronounce “th” at the beginning of words. I cannot pronounce the double tongue words the French do and probably most languages have sounds that are difficult to reproduce. Not to bug you but can you link me to the video you made a box for larger cards? It was a genius idea! Have a delightful day dear lady!

Adding more and more flowers certainly works. I would never have thought to do this, and it looks fantastic. I'll definitely know what to do next time I struggle to finish a card. I love all of your cards, but would love to see more of what you do with your scraps. Thanks for the great video x

Your handmade background was nice but really became beautiful when placed on the solid cardstock...i really make use of this thin matte look...definitely a lovely design decision. LOVE the finished card!! Elevating the cat and mouse really gives them focal point importance. Yes! to adding in all those flowers!! Choosing string or cord, instead of ribbon, adds to the more informal style of this card. I have really enjoyed watching you work on this project...thank you!

That card is adorable! I have some similar supplies and never thought to use them that way! I have watched people smoosh but they didn't take it further and it didn't look like anything much. The use of splatters, then embossing folder, then brayer and ink was amazing! It took that background to the next level! I also appreciated seeing your creative process. Excellent video! Thank you for teaching me!

I'm trying to go outside of my comfort zone more and more these days. I like neat, controlled cards but I'm experimenting with mixed media and finding it so freeing! Beautiful card Marta x

Lovely card . I would still be sitting wondering what to do after half hour . You have such an amazing creative mind . I love that you use the older stuff . I have a lot of things and can5 afford or justify to keep buying new . I think that you use a mix of old and new which is good for everyone. But at the end of the day you should use what makes you happy . Glad you had a lovely day out with the family x

Love this Marta... I say that my cards often have a mind of their own... and turn out totally differently to how I envisaged them. I have used scraps of my created backgrounds for inside my cards, and on the envelopes

Marta, a beautiful card. I always do A4 paper with inks, etc as the extra will be used. Do admire the fussy cut as I cannot master it.❤ I would love you to do shabby chic cards.

I love Love LOVE the background you created and was sad to see it covered up.....BUT....in the end it was still visible. Wow amazing what you can make off the top of your head. The card is amazing I love it. I tend to go to my craft room and sit on the chair, look around at the mound of craft goodies I have and my mind goes blank!!! Thank you so much, Jane. I’m so happy you like the card. I know having too many supplies can be discouraging too. The white thread using is actually jewellery nylon string 1.5 mm thick.
