Sir, I was admitted for November 2023 ca final exam but I didn't clear. I cleared group 2 ca final in May 2024 attempt. Do I have to clear SPOM Set A and Set B before appearing for November 2024?
Although it's a very good step that ICAI has given relaxation, but ICAI really needs to be more proactive and start issuing such notifications timely. So many students have already wasted their more than 1 month in completed mandatory learning hours and clearing Set A&B exam. If this notification would've issued in july along with results so many students time would've been saved. However, beneficial for those who haven't appeared for spom exam yet.
Spom ke exam before applying for membership de sakte hai but What about those 40 hours of lectures woh bhi exam ke baad complete kr sakte hai yaa woh phele hi karna hai
Sir i have cleared intermediate exams in may-2023, and attempted for may-2024 for final exams but could not clear now is it mendatory for me to give SPOM exam before nov-24 exams? My articleship will also be complete in sep-24.
No ankita Its not mandatory for u to clear spom before nov 24 U are covered under point B of the notification. U have to clear spom before membership. For more confidence and to confirm my advice kindly read point B of notification once again. Thank you

According to me u are covered under the notification since u were admitted to final exam in nov 23. Therefore u can appear for nov 24 exams and clear spom later i.e before membership.

I think u r covered in point B of the notification so i think u r also eligible for the benifit. Therefore u can appear for exams without clearing spom set A& B. And clear after exams.

@@sonagangadiya5185 no u dont need to clear spom before exams Because u filled exam form for nov 23 i.e u were issued admit card for it. Notification point A clearly states that students who were admitted to ca final for Nov 23 are required to clear spom before membership.

Hello nikhil sir I cleared second grp CA FINAL in may 2023 Nov 2023 appeared group 1 but failed. May 2024 appeared for grp 1 but got negative. Now i am only pending with grp 1 and i dont have exemption in law. So can i appear in November 2024 without giving SPOM exam..?

Brother u have to clear all 4 set of spom See if any group of intermediate is cleared in may 24 then all four set of spom are compulsory to clear before appearing for nov 24 final exams and so on.
@@dhavalgandhi1027 for u it is compulsory to clear spom but not before 15 oct. U can give nov 24 ca final attempt without clearing spom. Which means u can clear spom later. I hope its clear now?

Hello mam, main CA final ka koi bhi group clear nhi hai. And second group dena chahta nov 24 mein. Mere two questions hai. 1. Mera paper 6 exemption hai jo ki mujhe may 23 exam mein aayi thi. To mujhe exam form fill krte time abhi permanent exemption k liye Jana pdega ya phir nhi. 2. Kya mujhe nov. 24 exam mein appear hone se phle spom clear Krna pdega like set a or b or set c or d.
1. Permanent exemption ki need nahi ... Normal exemption claim Karo - while exam application fill karte samay . 2. Set C & D aapko exempt hai ! Set A & B after Nov 24 exam de sakte ho... Be relax and focus on Nov-24 exam .... All the best 👍
If we have given ca final exam till nov 23 then it doesn't matter that whether i have givem exam in may 24 or not nd still give exam for nov 24 without passing the set a nd b right?
