I started dancing when I was 10, back in 1968 and if you weren't in your full regalia, the arena directors wouldn't let you enter in the Grand Entry. The flag carriers were men, usually military veterans. Headdresses were only worn by men, now I see women wearing them as well. I'm from a time long ago, and some things just hit me as strange. I'm 65 now, and I still love to dance, I just tend to notice things more than I did when I was younger. Now I sit in my chair and move my upper body to the beat of the drum.
