That phenomenon where sizes of products decrease with the combination of price inflation of the normal sized product is apparently called "shrinkflation"

I LOVE Aldi's. They have improved over the years, and carry so many more items. I recently bought the cheese protein puffs {not the jalapeno ones}. A great way to get in your protein and they're good. I also recently bought the light spreadable butter...so good. I prefer it over any of the brand names at HyVee or Walmart { live in Des Moines}. I love your videos...just wish you had more of them.

I noticed our Aldi has their pepperoni where the turkey sticks and jerky are, also near pasta sauce and noodles strange I know but I didn't think they sold it either until I found it in those places

For tofu, I LOVE making crispy tofu in the air fryer! Makes really good addition to a rice bowl with cucumbers and other stuff with either a peanut or teriyaki sauce. So good!

If you haven't jumped on the chili crisp bandwagon yet, I think you might like it, especially with tofu to make a cold, spicy "salad" perfect for hot weather. You make a dressing with the chili crisp, sesame oil, soy sauce, fish sauce. lime, scallions and cilantro and let it marinate for a while. It just gets better over time. There's a bunch of recipes on line. You can also freeze scallions chopped into little rounds to throw into stirfries or chili or whatever. 😋
I just tried a pick up limes recipe for spicy gochujang tomato tofu, it was spicy, lol, but her recipes are really good. Otherwise i cube it, toss it in a sauce (i like nandos garlic) and roast it then put it in wraps or on salads.
Okay so. The Hatch Chile dip? Definitely warm it up. I tried it straight out of the fridge as a cold dip and it was terrible. lol. Definitely meant to be warmed even though there are no instructions on how to enjoy. I know this is old but the protein puffs are good.. they have a slightly weird aftertaste but pretty good all things considered!
Not meaning this in a mean way and i hope you understand but this is the brain rot ive been looking forward to all day (meaning i dont have to deeply think and i can just enjoy the content). Course work is kicking my ass and im about to start my nursing classes soon including phlebomty and eventually anatomy and physics so it's nice to have content I don't have to over think 🎉😂
The eating out inflation is definitely massive. Delivery is even worse. I tried once to order a single energy drink off of gopuff and the total price was a little over $17 for everything. That's including the drink, delivery fees, service fees and tip. Unfortunately I had an early morning the next day and needed it and don't live near gas stations or stores and can't drive so that was the option.
I swear I heard "struggle butter" @4:48 and I said "Yes! It is real!" because I never have the patience to let it soften & I rip the bread ..... Then I thought about it and realized you did not actually say struggle butter, but spreadable butter 🤣😂🤣
Okay I have a question about the biltong. I got the purple bag from Aldi (the original) and it's good! But after eating it for a bit it makes the space under my tongue feel dry. Like maybe tannins or something? Does that happen to anyone else?
You are my absolute favorite, but please, can you limit the paper plates and disposable kitchen ware in general?
