I love how large your home will be. Stay on the builders/contractors so that they don't cut corners. Make sure they fully insulate your walls, and show you that it is done. Love you guys and continue to pray as they are working. Ask a lot of questions, make surprise visits while they are working, and make sure they show you what work they are doing. If you want surround sound in your home, while the walls have not been installed, this is a great time to have that done too. Will be praying with you all too.

All things are possible with God! I was 44 when I met my current husband. (I had been married before), he had never been married. We dated a year and a half before we were married and we remained celibate. Now we kissed, but we didn't have sex. God kept us. There were just certain things that were off limits. For example, NO LATE NIGHTS! We had an 11:00 pm curfew. Yep, we were FULL GROWN, but y'all know what happens in the midnight hours. Lol! Thanks for continuing to provide great content. It's good seeing Jerard with you today!

The car situation was a bit sketchy. The first dealer saying that the features you wanted couldn't be added to the car you're interested in seemed as if he was telling the truth. The second dealer was aware of those features that couldn't be added and decided to order a different car anyway. By him telling you "Well it still has the features you wanted.. but it's a wagon" was a hope that you would purchase the car and that's probably how that dealer makes their sales in the first place. The moment he submitted the order within that 1-5month mark he would've noticed that he made an error and notify you immediately. I had that same experience when I was helping my Mom look for a car. She didn't want push start and a certain feature and he claimed he had it, made us sit in the car, bring us into the office and tried to submit the application. I told my Mom why does this car look completely different and he says "We don't have the one you want but this is similar." My Mom always says, laugh with them once you finally receive the car and keys. Make business strictly business. God will make a way, you stood your ground and said no and that's amazing.

A totally different model! When we custom built our BMW, we did it ourselves online, printed everything out and gave it to the sales advisor. I remember checking all specs before signing anything because I was so nervous something would be missed. I'm glad you didn't settle for what you didn't want. Best wishes ❤️!

My house took a year! I was going every day. Once the finish doing the piping/plumbing, hvac and electrical your home will move faster. They start the dry wall once the mechanical stuff is done.

God always work it out for us. We had a home built last year and they told us not to make any big purchases during the process. Your car will come right on time. Congratulations!

Please make sure you stay in contact with the contractor. To make sure everything is where it should be. You may need to do another walkthrough with the contractor. ❤

We literally signed the contract for our new build in March 2021 as well, and we were told Our home would be finished in March of this year and we just had our Electrical walk through, This process is definitely a learning experience it test your patience as well, I just try to stay in the mind set of feeling blessed to even be able to be building a home.

We build our custom home and it took us 10 months. We sold our first home in February and moved in right before Christmas. I will say don't go everyday it will frustrate you because your expectation and anticipation will play a huge part and you will be very disappointed. Patience is definitely the key. A plus for you guys y'all have already pretty much picked out your material. For my husband and I we had to make every decision as we went along. So hopefully it won't be much longer. I wish you all well

So true. I saw a quick clip that he washed your feet was awesome. I know when we got married we asked the pastor to turn around and ask anybody here who's not saved would they like to get saved because when you have your family coming in to enjoy this moment this is the time to ask them because you never know when they're going to come back into the church so it was a blessing for us cuz two people did decide to get saved.

Loved this video!!! In regards to the house, we signed our contract last Feb so we're over a year in too. It has moved SOO slow and we are getting the same reasoning for the delays. Our tentative closing has been pushed a couple times now and so we are hoping for the first week of April. Couple this with expecting our first baby any day now. Hoping they get moving faster on your home and that you're in soon!

Our home was built and ours was the last to be built in our section of our subdivision. Thank GOD because almost EVERYONE had MAJOR problems!!! Like their foundations giving out. The builder went bankrupt and wasn’t responsible for ANYTHING!!! So be patient and let it be built correctly. Just like you prayed for your husband, pray for the laborers 🙌🏾😂🙏🏾💜

My friends and I were bound to celibacy in honor of God, so we had our friend group. Whenever we felt we were getting weak, we call one another for help, “SECURITY!” I remember once staying up for 26 hours, because I was security for my BFF. I know waiting on the house is hard but I promise you don’t want them to wait. The shortage in supplies is the primary reason for delays. My husband and I bought our home last year. Once drywall goes up it will move quick. Insulation should be next. Electrical may be waiting on inspection.

I do feel like your home build is moving at a slower pace than I have seen. I understand how lumber costs are pushing that narrative, but maybe it's the location (city, state) too? 🤔 I have friends who have had home builds started after you and moved in before Christmas. That could be a blessing or other, IDK. Maybe once the walls go up it will go a bit faster. The framing def does seem to be taking a while. Blessings on the new home though. All on GOD's time

I took about 6-8 months for full completion of our new build. From the time they broke ground. We finalized the house on paper 2 months before. Usually once the exterior walls/roof goes up things move pretty quickly. Because work can be done despite weather. However we built in 2020 before supply chain issues got really slow so that may be what’s causing the delay. Your pre-drywall walkthrough with your project Manager should be coming up soon now that the electrical and plumbing is installed.

Remember this is different times we live in. There's a lot of delays due to goods and services transport from different countries and parts of the country. That could be the cause for the delay and progress of your house. One of the fruit of the spirit is patience dear.

Yes go to Barbados my birthplace! 🇧🇧 I also had to wait for my new car (one month) which is nothing compared to your car struggles right now. Sis it's better that the builder takes their time with the house than to rush and then inconvenience you later if something has to be re-done. Remember the Lord is helping to build this house for your family. You don't want it rushed.

Getting permits to go to complete and go to the next phase of building can definitely slow the process down. Before they close the walls up ,inspection from county is necessary

Our home construction took a while too and especially during Covid because there was a delay not only with materials but a shortage in workers. It took about 8-9 months total

Yes represent Kingdom love in Christ and thank ya'll for the Shout out of my church. ❤❤❤❤ where you too the one's he was telling us about one sermon who waited until wedding night to kiss because he honored that so much and Pastor said he knew it was a holy union because he saw God in the ceremony and felt it so strong! Don't forget we are in a Pandemic for the last two years and it has been hard to get materials with stuff sitting in the ports for so long. Also a shortage of truck drivers and that may be why it is taking so long for your house. It will be a better house with all of the Bible verses and family blessings within the walls of your house. Praise the Lord!!!

I we t everywhere but it was 7 years ago. Right now you can't get the supplies to finish the houses. The wiring, cable outlets, tubs, windows and drywall should be next.

I get it and agree because it’s you alls money. I get upset when someone try to play with my money 😳. My momma use to say, “don’t mess with my momma, my children or my money”!! I totally get the preference in the coupe. I actually want the white one as I have a white C300 and wanted to trade it in last December. Since the inventory is so low with coupes, we're going to wait until what I want becomes available

In God’s name, when your house is completed, it will be great and to your specifications. We bought our house in 2020 (signed contract May 1 and closed Dec 30). The labor shortage, material shortage could be contributing factors as well. One advice is to be very vigilant as you get closer to the finish line for small details that may be missed or overlooked. Still keeping in mind that not all builders do things the same way. I’m really excited for you as home ownership is an awesome achievement. Blessing 🤗
