Hi Lee, yes you may use any USB charger to charge your torch using the provided charging cable. However, different charger may result in different length of charging time.

Correct me if i'm wrong, no hurt feeling~ Due to receive different user need different light mode for their lights, there's the reason in this new Core-Work-Signature having different Smart Light Technology compare with old model. As the suggestion from you, you had to set the light 1 time at the 1st you use; so you can get 1 click to get "Light on"; click again within 3 sec to "dimmer lumens/light function that you set"; click again within 3 sec to "SOS mode" click again to off it if you not going to use others light mode. *more than 12 light mode you can select to activate or deactivate **if too complicated, then just use the default mode will do ***we will feed back to our Ledlenser product development so that serve you better 😁🥰

And sorry, bought it expensive, and i gave it, so i'll use only P5, which i love, and wich i'd love better with memory dimmer (click=on, another click=off, and long push to change intensity with a blink for max and min (very important)) only. (Or one click to light up and start dimming low to max, and another to stop when intensity is fine, for example). For P5Core: BOOST Mode is great (double click), but then to light the torch, and reach each mode, we have to wait a few seconds between each push.. That's boring and annoying, and worse, no way to use emergency mode (imagine you're about to faint for exemple, or any emergency..) and self defense mode ("oh, wait mister fief, i turn my light on to blind you, but still not the good mode, and i have to restart because i did two clicks to fast"), and to use dimmer.. Nope, can only go back to programming the all modes again, and restart the lamp at the intensity programmed finding the mode again.. If you can give them the word, thank you, i love the brand, so many qualities for a very good stuff, including the way to charge it, but i felt scamming someone with the idea to sell it, it's not a joke, i gave it. Not sure how, but i had a lot of ideas for that immediatly, when i'm not earning thousands in that enterprise every month to find a solution to sell worldwide, and choose the worst because i found it cool in my backyard.. I really don't get it. Thanks so much to take it this way 😅
